Mr Angry 1,813 Posted April 11, 2022 Do they protest at all their home games, or just the ones against us? The last time we played them at OT they were protesting all through the game and not giving the team much support.

Canary Jedi 599 Posted April 12, 2022 It’s actually a protest against us because we have the audacity to copy the colours of Man U’s 17th team strip.

Apparently you might like an investor owner here too 🤦♂️🤯

Aren't the Glazers just running it on the normal US model for NFL clubs etc. I.e. expecting the club to make a profit and pay some of that out to the people who own it (shocker!). Given Man U is one of the biggest global sports brand, expecting it to make a profit for the owners seems to me pretty reasonable. The Premier League is run on this model that rich owners are expected to subsidise clubs perpetually despite the League being paid billions every season for TV rights, I never understand why people think this is how it should be. We were so hopelessly outclassed their team didn’t need any support from the terraces. Even Harry Maguire had his opponent in his pocket although to be fair it was Adam Idah who was pitched in at the last minute with virtually zero first team experience. Are they owners or custodians of a cultural community entity? The government white paper makes this point. You can't just knock down a graded building because it has cultural significance. Now amplify that to a major community entity. Also you say it's ok to take a profit and take the benefits of ownership, you forget they have added a huge amount of debt onto the club. So not only are the fans helping to pay eye watering interest payments on loans to JP Morgan that they took out to buy the club, but the people that took out these loans aren't actually putting all the money back into the club, but making a profit from it. And all because a family decided they wanted to make money without much responsibility. I'm surprised you think this reasonable.
