komakino 282 Posted April 7, 2022 Ted was around 29 when he left and it should be remembered that the money in the game was derisory by modern standards. Some players moved simply to get a signing on fee. He was successful to begin with at Southampton and McMenemy was ambitious, but his career pitted out after that. While we 'only' got 50 grand for him, which was a typical Bond Transfer fee at the time, we got good value from Ted and resurrected his career. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Cost extra postage too as im not resident in UK. So i have a 100% response rate from the Club. Now.   That.    Is Impressive!!!
