Interesting that the boy Sutton is plugging the Archant editorial line that you cannot say anything against Norwich City as this would not meet with Delia's approval. 

Accordingly you cannot say the club has no ambition.

I seem to recall that Sutton's views about his former club were more strident before he allowed himself to be gagged. Strange.

I happen personally to pretty much agree with his last column.

The club has heaps of ambition. Its the corruption and money of the Prem league that is stifling it so stop the anti Delia rot. 
She has taken our club from one with zero ambition and sell your best (Mr Sutton case in point) to one which actually tries to compete.
The last season under Farke we were hit with a ridiculous injury crisis, we always hear about Liverpool having their #1&2 CB injured as a defender crisis. Try playing midfielders in CB because #1-4 and the youth up and comer are all injured. But the media ignores that giving us the little old crappy Norwich line. 
Despite breaking records in the Champ we are then labeled as the dead horse before a ball is kicked this year so what exactly do you expect?
Wake up and stop blaming people in the club (other than Webber in places perhaps) its all about the League and what they value and our face does not fit. End of.

The 2019-20 injury crisis and the need to play midfielders in defence might have been mitigated had we addressed the obvious need for cover in that area. Instead our choices were inexperienced, injury prone or just not good enough.

 

Interestingly I think it during the Brentford game that Sutton was on the BT Sports version of Soccer Saturday and he was halfway through a conversation about Delias finances holding the club back. Then Newcastle scored and nothing more was said.
