Byram is injured and Gibson should not wear the shirt again following 2 penos.
Rowe should come off the bench but unsure who to swap him out for as I like the idea of Josh supporting Pukki.

Aarons in

Omabamidele in

Come on, I think we know what it's going to be:

Krul

Aarons Hanley Gibson Williams

McLean Gilmour Normann (perhaps PLM) (Order doesn't matter because they'll all drift all over the place anyway and leaves loads of gaps for the opposing team)

Sargent Pukki Rashica

I guess it's possible Rupp might replace Normann since he (Rupp) helped deflect the flak from Smith yesterday.

Omabamidele  is still injured last I heard otherwise I would be playing him, Gibson might have been poor too but Zimmerman was somehow even worse so.. It's a tough one

What we thinking? I'm going for the Mike Bassett approach😉

I like this although would have Kabak in instead of Gibson.

Trouble is, as has been said I fully expect it to be same old, same old

Krul

Aarons Hanley Gibson Williams

McLean Gilmour Normann (or PLM/Rupp)

Sargent Pukki Rashica

God help us if it is, with Mr Pointy running around pointing at people and doing naff all else!

Leeds are rubbish defensively but still break well, especially with Raphina, and quick so I think we need a very defensive base for protection with pukki and rashica definitely to start up front but I'd also play giannoulis for his pace and attacking threat whilst also offering good cover on the left

                             Krul

Aarons    hanley    kabak     Williams

                           P.L.M

             NORMANN  MCCLEAN

   RASHICA                         GIANNOULIS

                          PUKKI

Aaron’s had a good second half IN

McClean oblivious most of the game OUT

Normann won’t be here next season OUT

Gilmour won’t be here next season OUT

Rachica should have started IN

Management  IN/OUT  ???

Owners  IN/OUT ???

Lessons learnt from another disastrous season ABSOLUTELY NOTHING

Honest appraisal and can’t argue with it, especially the last 2 lines.

With any of those selections predicted will still concede 3 even though Leeds lost last 6.  It is NCFC they are playing and might just get one decent half, two no chance.

McLean will start. I will be angry about it. We will lose. McLean will be dreadful.

Then the same will happen next week and rinse and repeat until the end of the season.

I would have:

Krul

Aarons

Hanley

Zimmerman / Oma (if fit)

Williams

Normann

Rupp

Sorenson

Rashica

Sargent

Pukki

Hanley has clearly been our best centre back all season so can’t see why he should be dropped. We’re bad enough defending aerial balls/set pieces with him so dread to 5hink what we’d be like without him!

I just don't think Hanley and Zimmermann are the best combination.  I would like to see Zimmermann in and that is why I put Gibson in there with him - they compliment each other well, or have whenever I've seen them play together.

It really doesn't matter anymore; any lingering hope of a miracle died with the Brentford game.

I'd start planning for next season; use the loanies as subs only. If Rowe is in our plans, start giving him some more game time. Omabamidele should be put back in when fit. Anyone Smith knows he's going to offload in the summer can tend to the allotment at Colney.

Whether McLean plays or not is irrelevant really, as the rest of the midfield haven't been much cop either. When your big hope is Rupp, you know you're in the sh*t. I will predict that if McLean plays, he will have a shot from outside the box that will sky over the bar.

Theres still 'some' hope...but we must beat Leeds tomorrow. Theres then a chance of finishing above them Watford and Burnley

Lose and that will be that as we will have pretty much run out of 3 teams we can catch

I do hear you GJL...but it's gone for me.

We were awful against Brentford; it reminded me of the Southampton game (19/20) at home after the football lockdown finished. So much hope. So bitterly disappointing. I knew we were down after that.

Still hope we can scrape a couple more wins out of the season. Even if one of those is against Leeds, I just can't see us staying up. Sorry to be such a misery but it's just how I'm feeling at the mo.

I agree. This is absolutely the last chance saloon.

Last last chance saloon. Have to beat Leeds and Burnley in our next 3 to have any chance of staying up.
