Exactly, a decent sausage has a high meat content - and not mechanically separated. Although I have to chuckle when Richmond said they launched a new meat-free range considering their "normal" sausages have the bare minimum percentage of meat (42%) in them to actually be labelled as sausage.

Granted, if I want a rare fry-up in a cafe I'll just eat what's given in the sausage stakes, but I prefer something with twice that.

Someone I know always used to buy cheap sausages, as according to them the cheaper the cuts of meat the more they had to grind in and the less likely they were to find a large piece of something unsavory! I follow the logic, but not sure id agree,

Also I was always lead to understand that the percentages for sausages / meat pies and the like were higher in Germany, so the likes of Aldi and Lidl  etc , whilst cheaper had a higher meat content. not sure if thats true, or still the case.

Surely that would be an asset ?

It is but the Government has said they will allow the club to pay wages, pay for match day facilities etc.

Not clear what level of sanctions is applicable. Full economic sanctions would mean no further financial transactions of any kind allowable for any asset owned by a sanctioned individual - the government advice to date would indicate that the "football club" itself is not included in terms of it's day to day activities, but effectively no additional or further "income" is allowed to flow into anything owned by Abramovitch. The transfer he announced a few days ago was, possibly, an attempt to move the club away from from his ownership and control but that clearly hasn't worked.

A sanctioned person cannot sell an asset, but he can give it away.

Can it be given  back later once all the fuss has died down? Asking for a Russian friend.

Three also reviewing their Chelsea shirt sponsorship contract.

Quite hilarious that a club that has lived off ill gotten gains for years and won every conceivable trophy as a result, suddenly find they have no money of their own anymore.

Hopefully  they get relegated.

I think it should be at least a 50 point deduction !

Add that to a 9 point deduction for Everton and we've only got to catch Watford......... Game on 😄

Hoping but not expecting that this may be the wake up call that football in general needs.

Fan owned clubs, living within their means, salary caps, the lot. Won't happen but we can dream.

Now if only the EPL had done proper due diligence on where and how Abramovich got his money from??!!!?!

Best part is they cannot buy or sell players.

Also it seems they can't give out new contracts to existing players, whose contracts run out in the summer.

I might have felt sorry for their fans, if they hadn't acted as they did at the weekend, they'll problem still be singing Romans name at Carra, maybe if they do we should put footage of the hospital that was bombed yesterday on the screen.

Shades of Jim Hacker suggesting that the EEC were trying to ban the British Sausage and label it "a high fat offal tube." when he was trying to secure the party's nomination for leader (and therefore PM).

Plus ca change, plus c'est la meme chose.

I listen to it sometimes as well Ken! 👍 (Though less this season).

If you're a cricket fan, you don't have much choice atm, if you can't see it on TV. (Talksport outbid TMS).

if only he had some half and half scarves he would do a roaring trade. Obviously cash only as his credit card facility is not working at the moment.

Tell me about it, would cards work? Yellow = 1 day ban and a week for a red. Every week we have a new referee voted for in a poll.

Perhaps TVB could post up a poll and we all vote on who we want banned?

Yes!!! If I can’t make the top 3 after voting for myself I’d give in.

I can recommend Archers butcher shop sausages (near the Heartsease roundabout) . No idea what the meat content is but frankly I don't care. One of the many great things about living in Norwich.
