Lack of funds

Recommended Posts

A lot of voices on here say we have plenty of players in the squad and don't need to sign anyone. The only reason we are not is we have no money to spend ,simple as that .if we had we would be in for 1 or 2 by now.We prob will be in the championship next season and can move on a few to get funds for 2 or 3.There won't be as much pressure to spend big next season so frees up money for ground improvements ,much needed.

We spent a record amount and broke our transfer record twice last transfer window.

With that in mind do we really think we would do anything this window?

We needed to given our position in the league and the weakness of key positions such as a central defensive midfielder and a striker.

There are worse grounds than carrow Rd for sure but there are many a lot better  .Maybe spending a few million on the ground and not players for a change would be a good decision.

After the brilliant thread started by Purple, with great contributions by all especially Parma and Essex, recently it shows we are in a perpetual circle of yo-yoing, investing the money made back into the club, developing assets for future financial stability and not huge sums to invest. With the way the clubs been structured has made our clubs main share holders virtually unremovable and not an attractive club for a takeover! So we are the poor relations at the party but doesn’t make us certain for relegation as even if you buy the best players they don’t always improve the team……fingers crossed Newcastle, Watford and Burnley signings all fail big time!

We do have hope, we have young players with bags of potential, a good run with confidence, settled team with limited injuries and we might just make 17th!

I don't think we'll be making major ground improvements anytime soon.

Maybe the fans can build it... Boo
