Naturalcynic 817 Posted January 28, 2022 On House of Games tonight there was a question about Leeroy Rosenior who apparently lasted 10 minutes as manager of Torquay. This reminded me of a similar occurrence at NCFC about 20 years ago when we appointed someone but he resigned before even taking up the post. All I remember is he wore a flat cap and sounded permanently depressed, but I have no idea who he was or why he resigned. Can anyone shed any light on this, or have I “misremembered” the incident? Are you getting confused with a greyhound racing manager at Yarmouth? 🤣
Google Bot 3,934 Posted January 28, 2022 I remember Mike Phelan coming back and was manager for a small period - you're not thinking of that? He never really seemed like he wanted to be here, was a bit surreal.

Could have been him, but I think my memory is playing tricks on me and I’m confusing the event with Mick Wadsworth who I believe was our reluctant assistant manager back in the 90s and left fairly soon after arriving. alex_ncfc 686 Posted January 30, 2022 Didn't we hire a manager before Walker in 1992 who changed his mind as he didn't want to move to Norwich? Maybe it was him?
