When you can root one of the best keepers the PL has seen to just watching it and visibly hoping for it not to go in, and make it look like the shot is going over only for it to dip literally into the top corner, then that’s one truly special goal. Listening to Paddy Davitt, he put it well that all trick shots require an element of luck. Literally if you don’t shoot you don’t score so in terms of pure instinctive finish it has to be Sargent. A Grant Holt attack of the ball, left his defended out muscled and absolutely made a good ball an excellent goal. If you think it was not meant and a fluke he turns to celebrate pretty much as he hits it.
