Hank shoots Skyler 2,094 Posted January 22, 2022 @hogesar on re reading the thread I can see some posts here which you may want to have targeted your own at - so fair enough my mistake. But definitely reads better when you are singling out those offenders as there are only a couple who probably deserve your ‘tone’ in this thread!
Monty13 2,172 Posted January 22, 2022 My interpretation watching those 3-4 seconds but Kenny is clearly making a point of telling Idah something and Max tells him it doesn’t matter. That’s it. Emotions running a bit high is all I’d imagine.

Try lip reading it, the last three words are "it doesn't matter" - it was no joke. It doesn't matter whos assist it was... If you think Max is a liar then that's your prerogative. He could have easily said nothing in response.

But its part and parcel of this forum. So you may not like some of the stuff I post, much in the same way I dont like posters on here who have stalked me in the past, sent me threats through DM, or the Delia Out Facebook group screenshotting things I put on social media. But its all part and parcel. So when I have weeks of that to deal with, and I give a little back in a condescending tone, I'm really not that bothered! P.s - i like alot of what you post too. Social media in a nutshell. I spend too long on here but can't be a*sed with all the other stuff. It's insane and not good for your health.

The Bristol Nest 512 Posted January 25, 2022 To be fair to Hoggy, this thread follows multiple unfairly critical ones aimed at McLean so I can understand the exasperation in tone. This is a mildly critical thread but straws and camels etc. My view on the incident? Nothing to see here.

Crazy how different the exchange looks in the first video though, as both parties just look flat out aggressive!

The left sided midfielder passed to another left sided midfielder who, after some work turning a defender, crossed the ball into the area. You can call it whatever you like, you can even call it 'very good' if you want, it was a non descript pass that you'd expect any professional footballer to do. chicken 2,579 Posted January 25, 2022 Is there a word for people who watch football players on social media and highlights with as much commitment as a birdwatcher hunting down a rarely seen breed? I only ask as at the moment it seems that scapegoating has gone to a completely stupid level now. "Did you see the way he glanced at 'x'? Must absolutely hate him because he's crap?" We even seem to suddenly have a resident lip reading expert! Jesus wept... grown men?!! We've won two games of football back to back in the Premier League and are out of the bottom three. Be bloody happy and stop trying to psycho-analyse our players when you have no actual ability to do so. It's getting to be rather pathetic and to be honest, is incredibly embarrassing considering we know other clubs fans visit this forum. 2

Capt. Pants 4,090 Posted January 25, 2022 Some players who won't be mentioned like to stir the pot with their cryptic social media contributions. I'm afraid it's the world we live in now, just one big old stirring pot.

Case in point, he put up a post saying he didn't have mental health struggles. How was that reflected on here? "He's defenitely got mental health struggles" "yeah, why would he say he hasn't unless he has" then people suggesting he was struggling with coming out... I mean honestly, you can make anything cryptic if you don't want to take it at face value.

Was just interested to have a go at lipreading, I'm considering a career change... I think you first have to pass a qualification in "understanding cryptic social media posts" first. Lip-reading is the next level so you can study and analyse all of the highlights and training session vids to spot for the slightest hint of needle eyes fired at anyone. Edit: I forgot to add, lip-reading level 1 is for English, you need level 2 for Scottish/Welsh/Irish accents. Even the Glaswegian I work with has said she has to tone down her own accent or we wouldn't understand her. She forgot once, she was right... 😂 Edited January 25, 2022 by chicken

Then it is clear on the second video that it ends well with a bit of banter. If you don't want to see that, then that is up to you.
