Samwam27 606 Posted January 16, 2022 Beating Everton rates as one of our best performances of the season, and everyone put a solid, decent shift in, including all defenders, PLM & Lungi in that central midfield, and then the Sarge, Rash & especially Idah behind Pukki. SO if everyone was to stay fit, would you now want to persist with that lineup? Would you bring Mclean back once he's finished isolating, and at expense of who? Same goes for Gilmour? IMO I wouldn't think about bringing either of those two back, and would love to see that side and formation stick together (injuries aside). The biggest conundrum is when Normann returns, so what would you change, if anything? Note I haven't even mentioned Cantwell for time being
Newtopia 573 Posted January 16, 2022 Don’t change a winning team unless you have to….
CardiffCanary 163 Posted January 16, 2022 I think the only change for me would be normann in for lungi, but that won’t be for a few weeks yet. Got to be the same starting 11 on Friday night unless there are any injuries 😬
TheGunnShow 7,377 Posted January 16, 2022 The only two changes I'd consider if fully fit are to get Normann back in somehow - if he's with Sörensen he should have more licence, if he is with Lees-Melou he will have to sit a little more, and get Omobamidele in for Gibson.
Capt. Pants 5,008 Posted January 16, 2022 Max didn't look too sharp when he went off, would be surprised to see him on Friday. Likewise Krul went straight down the tunnel as soon as the final whistle blew clutching his shoulder. Must be a doubt as well. Two key players potentially missing. I think we will have to match them so it will be a tactical change rather than one dictated by performance.

TESCO 70 Posted January 17, 2022 I’d only bring in Normann and AO for Lees-Melou and Gibson when they come back from their injuries. I think we have our best lineup like this 1
