Idah's produced two big games on the spin. Let him have a proper run now.

PLM and Wiliams as well - Boom

Whole team was brilliant today.

Even Melou and Sargent deserve a lot of credit and they've been shocking lately.

Williams and Idah growing some chest hairs and stepping up recently has been most welcome.

And Hanley, what a leader, warrior!

Pukki knackered, he'll need an extra day off, only player who didn't impress overall.

OTFBC!

Please get a room and don’t take up any more of this thread.

Like I said, I'm off to celebrate my team winning - completely the wrong time and place for Chicken to try and start a fight.

OTBC.

Yep lots of positive performances out there, no need for any barrel scraping today!

That will do for me. Just shows what a bit of effort and composure in midfield does. MOTM Hanley for me but Idah close. For once we have a proper forward player who is there to challenge for clearances and channel balls which isn't Teemu's  game.

Its weird that we have been so poor and yet are just off safety. Although the farce with Burnley is worrying.

But that makes for a great weekend and puts a smile on all our faces.

Burnley do have about 98 games in hand though.

Well done by the whole team, didn’t miss Mclean today

Yes a midfield showing purpose rather than being headless chickens.  Sorenson performed exactly as I expected him to.  Sure, not a progressive box to box midfielder with long passing range but calm presence and regular interceptions to break up play.  Some on here just don't have a clue what a good player he is; he won't win games but he will do his utmost to ensure we don't lose.

Two positives

We've surpassed Derby's points tally - hurrah!

We've one and no sign of Mclean-long may it continue!

And as a CDM that's all you ask him to do

Brilliant.  Did exactly what was required.  He is not a match winner but will stop teams winning.

Bloody hell, we scored two goals in quick order and then we got three points. Shame we didn't get the clean sheet as well but can't have everything.

Another post, another lie.

Seem to remember you brought something up from months ago, that's a lie you perpetuate, to have a dig at me... again.

It's getting boring now, and many posters can see it.

A massive, massive win today.

Hopefully people can see the importance of having something closer to our first choice 11 on the pitch after the last, six-ish weeks (?), with putting out the walking wounded and players with illness to fore-fill fixtures.

The only thing that tempers the win, in my head, is the number of games that other teams have in hand. We can only do what we need to do though. Long may it continue.

Wheres all the Lees Melou haters now? Gone quiet all of a sudden

I know what I said but I'm pleased he did well and I will eat my words on todays comment about being on the team sheet. He had a good game today.

Hopefully it wasn't a one off and we can see more of this going forward.

Guts, fight, spirit, and a few excellent displays from Idah, Hanley and Melou in particular, but everyone put in a great shift today. is it a flash in the pan or can we put something together? Friday is MASSIVE now.

So that’s what a win feels like! Brilliant lads, Sorensen, Lees, Idah & Sargent can take a big bow. Well done all of them, hopefully this might galvanise the others on the bench to give us the fight we need!

Meanwhile, we don't have that Derby County points record hanging over us like a sword of Damocles.
