Norwich 1 Watford 3 86/87

Favourite player ever.

Very tough one. Don't think I can pick one.

From my early years - Drinkell and Disco

Modern day - Holt and Tettey

Happiest away day witnessed.

Everton 1 Norwich 5 93/94

...although Charlton 0 Norwich 1 2009/10 was a pretty special day.

Best home performance witnessed.

Norwich 2 Liverpool 1 86/87 - when Liverpool were everything.

First NCFC shirt or any other souvenir purchased with pocket money or given as a gift.

Only NCFC shirt I ever got (I have never been a fan of getting shirts for some reason) - 92/93 birdsh1t shirt - still got it.

1st match you saw us play live. Luton 75, FA Cup W 2.0 ( watched in radio commentary box 2nd half)

Favourite player ever. That’s so hard, fcuk it Buendia.

Happiest away day witnessed. Leicester 1 Norwich 4 1982, promoted in May at Hillsborough not long after ( we were in the bottom half near enough in January)

Best home performance witnessed. ( again beating Leicester in 94 when trailing with 15 minutes to play, won 2.1)

First NCFC shirt or any other souvenir purchased with pocket money or given as a gift. Yarmouth beach early 70s, sisters bought me the full kit at some sports shop nearby.

1st match you saw us play live. Norwich 4 QPR 2. Special trip from the midlands for my 13th birthday. 1st half a damp squib, 1-0 down at half time, looked like it was going to be a disappointing day. Roared back. Mark Robins signed my programme.

Favourite player ever. Really difficult one, but Id probably have to go for Grant Holt. True talisman and kind of rags to riches stroy you couldnt help but be inspired by.

Happiest away day witnessed. Grant Holt's bullet header at Anfield I'd probably say. My wife supports Liverpool - we'd not long had our first baby and this was the first time we'd ever left him for some much needed time together. First trip to Anfield for either of us. She was pleased for me that we got a result. She was breastfeeding and her boobs were mighty sore when we got back - something we referred to as 'Anfield ****'. Bizarrely I enjoyed the battering we got from Sheffield Wednesday in the FA cup purely because of the banter from us away fans, and that Id made my own way there with my friend having just turned 17. The absolute terror we suffered when we thought we'd got on the wrong bus and and there was a very real prospect we'd end up in Rotherham. Particularly ironic as 14 years later Id end up settling down there - fate is not without a sense of humour.

Best home performance witnessed. Tricky one for me this as I've only ever been to Carrow Road a few times. Not to be boring and say the QPR game again I'll have to say the friendly against Inter Milan. Not because the game was any good, but simply because this summer trip to Carrow Road when a penniless medical student in the limited spare time I had was actually my holiday - it was all I could afford in terms of time and money and was my little treat to myself. I know how sad that is, but times were hard!

First NCFC shirt or any other souvenir purchased with pocket money or given as a gift - The 1992/3 bird **** kit. I used to love being a full kit w*nker in that up the park as the other kids looked at me with a sense of derision/pity. But I knew I was special!

Can’t remember to be honest. I do remember Ron Saunders complaining in the press about the attendance which I think was less than 15k

0-0 vs Newcastle in May 1985

Favourite player ever.

Ian Crook, I reckon. Then Wes and Buendía. I love a player who can find a pass you can't see from the stands.

Happiest away day witnessed.

Sheff U 1-2 NCFC in 1993. Weekend after the Bayern win, day after we'd been drawn against Inter. Just 90 mins of sheer happiness. I missed the first goal because I was underneath a giant flag. "Qué sera sera, we're going to Italy."

Best home performance witnessed.

I liked Disco Dale's shout of the 2-1 win over Liverpool in 87. I'm going to go for a niche choice from the end of the Worthy/Huckerby promotion season where we beat Walsall 5-0. In my memory we scored in the first few minutes and it was just inevitable we'd win the game by miles. Have very rarely had that feeling watching City. I kind of feel like I should add the 7-0 over Huddersfield, although I know no one saw that in person. Not sure we'll ever play as well again as we did in that first half. We were so good it was literally laughable.

The scarf my mum knitted for me in 1986 is still going strong.

1st match you saw us play live.

1973 Texaco Trophy, Wednesday night match against Scottish Opposition (could be one of two teams - never been able to tie it down)

Favourite player ever.

Difficult one. Fleck maybe or SuperMac

Happiest away day witnessed.

Just for the atmosphere, and the day out, trained up to the Baseball Ground (FA Cup 3rd round?) where we took the whole of one end in the old wooden stand.

Best home performance witnessed.

5-3 win against Villa, first game of the 75/76 season after promotion. (What entertainment! 8 pence a goal - EDP Headline next day)

First NCFC shirt or any other souvenir purchased with pocket money or given as a gift.

A Wembly (sic) 1973 white silk scarf.

Worst away day.

Villa Park (the forgotten) FA Cup semi final, hearing the news filter through from Hillsborough. Just awful.

1st match you saw us play live.

Don't remember the game but it would have been Watford away, 24/10/81-I lived in Watford and was a season ticket holder then so I would deffo have been at that match.

Favourite player ever.

Robert Fleck-I was working for a company that had an office in Glasgow and someone who worked there told me that Rangers were selling us a player who had mooned at Celtic fans in celebration of a goal-I thought that sounded like a player I could get to like! Always gave 100% for us, and sounds like a great guy too.

Happiest away day witnessed.

Chelsea 2 Norwich 3, 12/09/92. Chelsea 2 up at halftime, Flecky in his first match against us since his transfer walks off the pitch at half time kissing his badge-we score 3 in the second half courtesy of Dave Beasant-mass celebration in the away end at the end of the match as we were top of the Premier League!

Best home performance witnessed.

Only seen a handful of games at Carrow Road tbh, most of them for matches against Watford, and I can't really remember the performances!

First NCFC shirt or any other souvenir purchased with pocket money or given as a gift.

Went to Soccer Scene in Carnaby Street straight after the Chelsea away match in 92/93 and bought the "Egg and cress" shirt. Chucked it away when the N & P Building Society logo was looking really tatty.

1st match you saw us play live.

I don't know; was only 5 in 1969/70 season and my folks can't remember either.

Favourite player ever.

Graham Paddon

Happiest away day witnessed.

Does the play-off final count?  If not the 1982 match where promotion was clinched at Hillsborough.  We didn't win but was such a great atmosphere!

Best home performance witnessed.

I still refer to the 5-1  beating of Blackpool in 1972

First NCFC shirt or any other souvenir purchased with pocket money or given as a gift.

I loved my first full kit (****, well I was a teenager) the Admiral kit and track top from late 70's / early 80's.

1st match you saw us play live.

76/77 season home to Man U. Lost 1-2 I think

Favourite player ever.

Either Big Dunc or WFLGH. Both gave their all on the pitch

Happiest away day witnessed.

Milk Cup final count?

Best home performance witnessed.

It wasn't a classic but 2-0 home win v Portsmouth early 1986 to leapfrog them and go top of Div 2 on the way to the title

First NCFC shirt or any other souvenir purchased with pocket money or given as a gift.

Admiral kit, still have a retro shirt. Best kit ever
