For those supporters who were unsure of the wisdom of playing Hughes, not many I suspect, Worthy has made him a target for further abuse by raising the matter, a perfect example of the Worthington school of management.

No clarion calls for fans to positively boost players like WLY, who Worthy is only playing because of necessity and his popularity.

Fair point pete - where are the calls for hughes to improve his performances?    Aah - Iget it WLY is inconsistent but Hughes level of performance has at least been consistent and he has been giving his all so thats OK then...  The fact that level is simply not up to any minimum standard this season can be conveniently over looked.
