Farke Turns Up In Russia.

I wonder if he'll go for Normann in the summer, assuming of course he had some input to his loan here?

Just looked at where Krasnador is on a map and it looks like Rostov may be their major rivals based on geography of top tier clubs, may have to tred carefully and Rostov may not be prepared to flog to them.

Besides, if we stay up we get to buy Normann and I think we should all give a bit of Lake District Canary style positive thinking a go for West Ham and Everton, then revert to being depressed and negative after we lose both of those games.

Hope he evaluated his options and that he's not 'Russian to judgement'...

Hope he makes his Marx...

I note no director of football at the club, so no ProletariPrat to deal with....

They're just getting worse, so I'll stop there.

Good luck to him!

Good to see that his career isn’t Stal(l)in 😳

Well, if the owner wants someone to build a club and, more pertinently, is willing to give time, Farke will surely get that done. Hope he gets into Europe this season and shows his worth on the European stage.

Has the chance to get into Europe at the end of the season, something we can only wish for.

They're an average side in a poor league. Pukki would terrorise that league

Good luck to him, very surprised he's not turned up at a German side in honesty but it sounds like a potentially good base for him to add to his successes with Norwich. Feel it's a shame it ended how it did really given changing the manager has made sod all difference

I thought he'd taken the Besiktas job already? Appears not. Glad to see him back in the game quickly, looks like a nice job for him

In terms of value the 16 team Russian Premier League equals that of the Championship  (around 1bn euros) and Krasnodar (with its value of around 120 m euros) is also roughly on par with City. The difference is that Krasnodar has realistic hopes to play in some of the European cups. It's a sideways move. I agree that Pukki could terrorise the RPL.

I wonder what the Russian is for "Farkeball"? Or indeed "why can't we defend set pieces?"

But I thought one of the top German clubs were going to appoint him, and we would see his true worth?

Thats what all the crybabies who didn’t like him getting sacked here said anyway!

Maybe he’s not as good as people think?

Or maybe Krasnodar is a better job than most thought he'd get in Germany? Pretty sure no-one said a top job, but probably back in the lower reaches of the German top flight, or a fallen giant. Schalke's an obvious one as far as fallen giants go, but I doubt they'd want someone who used to be at their rival's reserves.

He had talks with Besiktas but decided against it, apparently. Had a look at Krasnodar and apart from last season where they came tenth in the Russian top flight, they had been between 3rd and 5th for seven seasons in a row, so that would get them in Europe. Wouldn't get much chance of getting into Europe with a bottom-half Bundesliga side.

Just glad he won't be pitching Farkeball against us next season. I'm relieved all the best in Europe next season.

Just hope he doesn't come in for Pukki to give him a taste of European football and the rest 🙈

Cant you be positive about a manager who did a wonderful job here and didnt leave the club under any cloud whatsoever? If you dont have love for Farke as an NCFC fan then I dont know why you bother even turning up.

Ok, yes he did a great job at Championship level, how about that?

So can you accept that he was woeful in the EPL, too?

Nothing in a search of Google news about Krasnodar & Farke.

Just a transfer rumour about a player going there from Hibs, the CEO at Hibs is Ben Kensall, the report says the player will be tempted by the big wages the Russians will offer.

Any way it’s a definite job promotion for Farke, bigger city, better stadium and much more money!

A stadium with a capacity of 35074 but an average home attendance of just 6783, how depressing.

Pukki has had 8 seasons of European Football, across 4 different clubs, both Champions League and Europa League, it is Farke who would be getting his first taste of European football.

Much easier ways for Pukki to get himself European football, just going back to HJK or Brondby for example,

Yes he didnt do very well in the EPL, agreed. Some might say he was out of his depth, others would argue he was provided with players nowhere near good enough. You could even say it was a mix of the two. We all have our opinions on that, but I'd like to think we all wish him well wherever he ends up.

Surprised he didn't get snapped up by a Championship club. At least we are spared seeing him getting one promoted and surviving in the PL.

Lovely pic, are they going with a Fargo theme? Is that a new coat?

Translation:

Daniel Farke became the head coach of Krasnodar Today the German specialist has drawn up an employment agreement with the club. The contract will be valid until the end of June 2024.
