100 per cent right Jim. It just seems the likes of the Webbers leave their junior staff members to face the music at the OSP, or perhaps not, whilst living off high prices charged to supporters with no challenge from Board Members.

If by that comment you mean Stuart Webber and Zoe Ward, I can confirm that Zoe was present at the OSP meeting last night and plans to be present at all subsequent meetings.

Not me. I ditched Twitter ages ago and would have quit Facebook as well but I need it for communication with a couple of my kids' clubs, so I de-friended everyone who wasn't family or a near-lifelong friend. I do have an Instagram but have made a grand total of 3 posts. Sounds like it might be one of those rare topics that I have to cede to your superior wisdom.

You make a very good point and I agree with what you say regarding price increases being applied whilst the club is in receipt of Premier League money or parachute payments. This discussion has been predicated on an assumption that the club is going to increase season ticket prices. If the club does increase prices then I think they should be transparent about why. I do think the huge  rise in wholesale energy prices will be a factor, whether the club should absorb those or pass them on is part of the debate. Having pondered what Greavsy has said earlier in this thread, I think he is right, the fans group should have given the fans a voice on this. Assuming we are going to be hit with a price increase maybe the fans group could ask the club to include some sort of quick questionnaire to go out with the season ticket renewals communication to gauge how fans feel about it, maybe it is too late for that. As you say we are a captive audience and the club knows that. Interesting times ahead when it comes to season ticket renewals............

I agree also re the energy prices but I have no idea what sort of annual cost that would be for an organisation such as the club? Sureky shy increase would not be hundreds of thousands?

I plead not guilty.

I have no idea either regarding energy prices, I assume that the club do not have the benefit of a price cap in the same way domestic users do. I do not know how much energy the club uses but I guess the floodlights and the machine they use to produce "sunlight" for the pitch must be electricity guzzlers and I assume the training centre at Colney must use a fair bit of energy.........

Thanks for that Wolfie though am I right in thinking that is the first time?

At the supporter roadshow meetings the Club used to hold around 15-25 years ago there was Board representation. I am still very much of the opinion that ought to be the case especially when the Club is running with this husband and wife arrangement.

The way in which the Chief Operating Officer role has been split up is not transparent to supporters. Unsurprisingly since supporters weren't consulted on the change

I take it you never shop around for car insurance?

Or haggle for the best mobile phone deal?

Threaten to leave sky / BT ?

Use the 30 day free trial of Amazon etc?

Just quite happy to pay the full price, as you enjoy the service?

I don't get how this is relevant to season tickets.

NCFC are the only provider of season tickets so in the absence of any competitors the price on the ticket is the price you have to pay.

It's the first time she has attended one of our quarterly meetings, yes, although she has been present at other meetings we have attended outside of the formal quarterly ones. The club has recognised the need to have senior-level representation at the meetings and has acted accordingly. As I've said to others on here, I'm optimistic that the minutes from last night's meeting will give a lot of insight once they're released.

So they are beyond being questioned / justifying any increases?

Yes, everyone's free to question it but if that's the price they set you either pay it or you don't buy the ticket.

Thanks Wolfie.

I appreciate that there are lots of people in the equation who have a learning curve so will look forward to those minutes in anticipation that we are in a new year new broom situation.

I get your point - but its worth a challenge, may not change it initially, but may make the club think about it in future years.

Or maybe just makes people feel better, and they feel that have had some input into the decision making process!

Typical of our team, to start winning just as the ST renewals are due......

No-one will care about the 10% rise now. 😉
