Chris Gunter who’s playing for them was rated pretty highly when he was at Forest. What’s happened to him to be at Charlton now?

He got old...

Get well soon my feathered friend. (Are you sure it’s not avian flu?)

Well I've not gone cuckoo yet... 😉

Well, Newcastle got knocked out. There's been some upsets. We were diabolical first half but better second, still nothing special. Sorensen is not the answer to any question.

Tzolis, Sargent, Dowell and others having a huge chance to prove themselves and utterly failing again.

A win! A win! Who cares if Charlton were two divisions below us - Middlesborough were taken life and death by Mansfield yesterday, Morecambe took the lead against Spurs and were ahead until a long way into the second half, Cambridge beat Newcastle at St. James's Park...

It wasn't a good showing to put it mildly, but we found a way to win.

Well that's about as unconvincing a win as you can get.

"Dean Smith's side wihll be hoping this will be something to build on"

No. There is nothing to build on. We should be embarrassed we won that game to be honest.

Pretty sure we watched several of those type of performances last season. We won, away from home against a team well up for it and kept a clean sheet.

I think that game summed up everything we already knew.

We have a few players that can give it a great shot in the Premier League; Pukki, Rashica, Krul, Normann, Aarons, Hanley (borderline).

The rest are not even Championship standard.

Why embarrassed? When other teams play worse than us but beat us they deserve it? Even if it is their one moment of quality. We're then called embarrassing. Now we're embarrassing if we win?!!

Very boring and predictable reactions from some on here.

Clearly we are incredibly low on confidence, but away against a team who are desperate to win and got the job done which is never a given in this competition. And we scored a goal.

Very glad Rashica is back.

Will someone tell what the tactic was out there today? And what is Deano's style? Because I saw nothing in that miserable performance to say we can go to West Ham and compete.

We are getting worse. We moaned about DF and now we know he was given a pile of siht by Superman Webber.
