More accurate than your last post on the subject.

It’s not really that accurate, Sarr and Dennis aren’t going 🤣🤣🤣

Fair point Mr Angry, but it's a better effort.

God loves a trier! 😊

Just heard Watford have refused to release Dennis and Sarr, I was hoping they'd be significantly  weakened when we played them because of this tournament.

Thought we might actually get some points if they were missing Sarr. With him they'll likely beat us again as he always looks top class against our slow defence

No Nigeria sent the invitation after the deadline for Dennis, so he  apparently questioned how many minutes he would get and decided it wasn't worth going.  Sarr hasn't played since November he has a knee ligament injury and he won't be fit to face us.  Although they will still be without 3 of their other starting 11.

That are losing masina, louza and Ekong. From the mouth of my Watford supporting friend " I hope Ekong stays there". He does admit louza will be a big loss.

Seems like Massina won't be a huge loss as they have signed a left back today. They signed a centre back yesterday as well so Ekong may have lost his place anyway.

My mates said they were hoping for a completely new defence so I don’t think that Masina and Troost-Ekong will be missed.

According to the BBC, under FIFA rules Watford have to release Sarr even though he is injured, so that he can be examined by the Senegal national team’s medical staff. Seems a bit stupid really as Watford had already announced that he’s not even due back in training until the end of January.

Yes, its a strange one that Senegal have included him but I suppose he is one of their most important players.  Yes it seems your mates are probably right they have already signed a centre back and a left back in this window and are being heavily linked to Domegoj Vida.

Ahh, thanks. That's good news and probably why they look so awful at the moment, they rely on Sarr so much like we used to with Huckerby to the point they're a completely different team without him

Oh Damn!....So unfortunately as we don't have any squad members attending this said event, we can't use the African Cup of Nations as an excuse for our continuing flounder and struggle at the bottom of the 'Top Flight'....

Covid, injuries (and maybe player fatigue) will currently continue to be the usual excuses for our sad struggle, but hopefully and to some, the loyal NCFC support at some stage will be targeted as a reason for our erratic events on the pitch.....Actually, it may have started already?.....
