Surprise surprise , he says that any other team in the league would have taken something from the game  and even suggests that beloved Brentford will cause them problems and maybe even win.  No credit what so ever Tw@.

Is he not right. City’s striking options are abysmal, Pukki and Sergeant are no up to the job, and yes with a top class striker city wouldn’t have been on the end of a 1 0 defeat.

Agree he was dismissive of us, but he was saying it as it is. We are the worst at scoring in the league.

De gea might have had something to do with that.

Yes, saves (from our defenders)!

We do look incredibly short or attacking options. Pukki apart we look very toothless. Our only chance is getting Rashica, Cantwell and Normann firing and Tzolis to be a genuine wilcard off the bench.

But we have an issue with converting chances, Brentford do not (not close to the same extent), is it not a fair point?

Basically ‘concede these chances against a side that converts their chances and United won’t win’?

Disrespectful and not that accurate to be honest, when he himself awarded MOTM to De Gea it’s quite clear that the keeper kept them in the game.

Sorry but deserved a draw with how we played, their keeper winning man of the match says it all.

Failed manager, average pundit. Hope Dean Smith uses these sort of comments to fire up the players against Villa.

You didn't see his brilliant save from Pukki's left foot shot from the edge of the area?

IMO Gary Neville is very definitely one of the better pundits and don't think many will find that remark even slightly controversial as he's probably called it right - I think most of us would struggle to remember a poorer MU side than that.

Yeh but he knows nothing about norwich he’s ignorant he could have said if norwich were full strength they could have won instead he says we’re the worst team in the league when actually we’re level on points with 2 other teams pr***

Yes it was an annoying comment but our record of putting the ball in the net speaks for itself.

Yet he gave De Gea MOTM?

Superb display and made some decent saves. Also highlights our inability to put the ball in the net though. 8 goals in 16 games is an awful return

I thought he was far worse than Shearer against Newcastle- it wasn't that I felt he was against us, just that he didn't remotely care that there was another, non-Manchester United team on the pitch. All his analysis was about United, what they were doing, how they were struggling, we might as well have not been there.

I don't disagree.

Doesn't change the fact Neville, like most "top professional" pundits doesn't seem to bother with cursory research on the lesser teams, yet gets away with it because sycophants suggest he is just "telling it like it is".

We absolutely deserved a draw. But what does that have to do with us failing to convert chances?

If he believes that then fair enough but was there an acceptance that we were missing several players?

Of course not.

Their keeper making good saves possibly?
