The Ipswich fan outside the ground after the game at 3mins 10s in this video gets a sudden sugar rush

It must be possible for some City fan to edit this down to a couple of minutes which feature this melt, having a meltdown.

I can’t remember the figures and can’t be bothered to look but someone did when the takeover was in progress and posted it on here. The fund in total has billions invested. What they’ve squandered on the binners is a fraction of 1% of that value. So if they wrote it all off tomorrow the effects would be marginal.

The Pension Fund don't own ITFC though.

Gamechanger ( a body of three) borrowed money from that fund in order to buy the club.

There is not a fund manager in the world who is not accountable, it's why they are worth billions.

The money lent/invested is never likely to threaten the fund of course, but should the club become a bottomless pit sucking up millions with little of the upward trajectory that they bought into coming to fruition then there could well come a day when Gamechanger are left high and dry.

They (Gamechanger) readily talked easy promotions with eventual  realisation of the Premier League dream and onto profit. They are stumbling at the very first, and by far the easiest of hurdles In the meantime the debt piles up.

As stated above, like many Americans who don't follow a global sport, they fail to realise the magnitude of the task, ("God help League One, because we won't.")

It is, of course, conceivable that they eventually buy their way to the top league, but at what cost and what then?  Sell? It's supposed to be an investment, after all. Will they get their money back though? It's Ipswich Town not Manchester United.

At least Marcus Evans can sleep soundly in his bed at last.

Wonder what he means by “in the first tier” ? The Binners haven’t been in the first tier since he was born  . His voice has only just broken.

I'd be surprised, he did a decent job at Preston so his stock must be higher than that.

Allegedly he threw his hat in the ring. I'd be disappointed because he would probably get them promoted quite quickly

I'd be very surprised if Alex Neil wanted to go there after what he achieved here, and surely they'd have learnt with Lambert that a manager can't just emulate their previous success at a different club. Especially a club in the dire position that the scum are currently in.

Seems like Neil Harris is the man expected to get it.

Bit of a comedown for all their fans convinced Lampard turned us down but would say yes to managing them in League One...

In hysterics over one poster on the TWTD board saying that he's heard from "2 reliable sources" that Farke has met with their chief exec twice, and was apparently watching their last game...

They want to be us so bad that they're becoming delusional.

Those sources are Boris Johnson and Dominic Cummings.

Dear God,they're going to be p*ssed off when Frank decides that a shambolic mid-table 3rd Division club, albeit with such a glorious history of multiple trophies and mega-rich Yank owners,is just not mouthwatering enough to fit his ego 😂
