The players are not performing well enough. It is as simple as that. Im not sure there is much that can be optimized about them either. They're just not good enough. But sacking Farke implied this was a squad of world-beaters that were underperforming. They really arent.

You say theyre not good enough....but are also saying they're not performing well enough?

Which is it?, perhaps they're performing at the limit of their capabilities?

NCFC needs a ruthless striker and front row. Do we need to hire some of our great ex NCFC' strikers and front row men to coach our current guys? Cause at the moment, NCFC isn't scoring goals. NCFC could've won the last several games if NCFC had an in-form and front row with confidence. You'll get confidence by scoring goals and being coached by some of the best in the business to learn their tricks of the trade will give them the confidence to score the much-needed goals and points to survive.

I can understand this point of view but be careful what you wish for. Neil Adams will be appointed.

At least Adams has some form of footballing background, I'd rather trust him with our limited funds than Webber.

After a defeat many of us expected hand on heart, we are all here whinging. This player was a waste of momey, this player is crap, did we need this and that. Jesus, we didn't get this during the last 4 games did we

Don't think the 'whinging' is as a result of today's defeat - think that most people would agree that last week was a worst performance and result than today's.

IMO the reason people are getting upset is that we're seeing exactly the same failings that Farke was supposedly sacked for continuing unabated under Smith.

Whilst it is still early days for Smith, the fact is that the failings, especially about a number of the players and their disappointing performances, is neither Farke's nor Smith's but Webber's responsibility.
