I looked at the Arsenal team to see if any fringe players and dropped down for the experience; NOPE! Not a sniff of knowing any of them, much like the 1p5wich side.

When I saw this on the BBC scores page last night, I misread it as "Arsenal U12s" which made me snigger.

Then I read it properly and saw that the scummers had lost on penalties to Arsenal U21s after having a 2-0 lead and I sniggered even more 🤣

correcting it that they played the U21s not the U23s - let's be realistic about this.

Are you allowed in the EFL Trophy? I always thought in those matches they have to actually be Under 21, you can't just dump a some senior fringe players in the team like you can do in the U23 fixtures.
