Spurs away pubs for city boys

Recommended Posts

Hi all

Managed to get a ticket for spurs away coming from Chelmsford where is everyone drinking before the game? Be good to be around city supporters I maybe going for some grub and drinks in Liverpool Street first.

Be good to know where you all thinking for beers!

Thought I'd bump the thread. I don't personally know any places, but with it being a London game you'll find them/us spread about a bit, but pubs near tube stations on the lines that serve the stadium would be a good place to start if you don't get anywhere specific.

There is the Red Lion which I believe is a London Norwich pub, but others here will give you better advice.

Norwich fan: “I’ll have a pint please”

*pours pint*

bartender: “That’ll be 15 quid mate” *starts singing “my old mans a dustman*

For those going on the train Hamilton Hall is the most obvious and then back down the escalator for the train to White Hart Lane.

Whilst we're seeking advice for the 'City Boys', any chance of anyone suggesting where the City Girls can also go?

I'd prefer not to have to leave my wife outside a pub.

Chelmsford, if you want something a bit left field you can try the Beavertown Brewery, they do some excellent beers.

It’s near Tottenham Hale station too.

Also, if you get the 149 bus up towards Tottenham you can stop off at Dalston, there’s loads of great bars around there. And Turkish restaurants too if that tickles your pickle.

We ended up at an awesome little Turkish bar/cafe a few years back.

Hope to find it again this year, but drove in last time and will be getting off the tube this time.

Presumably somewhere that sells fruit-based beverages?

The Alexandra Women’s Institute are holding a mince pie making class between 12 and 2. Colours allowed and everyone’s welcome.

Why not go straight to the stadium. I think it opens at 11.

Cheers lads for all the suggestions especially the partridgeisms. My stops include rejection, disappointment and shattered dreams parkway 🤣

In all seriousness be around for shed loads of beers in Liverpool Street area.

Then off for mince pie noshing😝
