Why the **** is Alan Shearer a commentator? I thought that it was supposed to be impartial..... And he's not at all.

Never liked that **

Feels like we're lacking any creative spark. Of the 5 midfielders we've got three solid workers in McLean, Rupp and Sargent, can afford to bring on some more creativity in the second half with the man advantage.

No but it was deflected into his arm by our player about a yard in front of him, nothing the player could do about it.

That isn’t the rule though

Just as well we are only up against ten men…..

Just have to hope Smith can sort them out at half-time.

Failing to win is not an option.

It is part of it.

"An arm extended away from the body makes that body bigger, in an unnatural position," explains Mike Riley, Managing Director of Professional Game Match Officials Limited (PGMOL), the referees' body.

"If the ball strikes that arm, particularly if it is blocking a shot on goal, there is a greater likelihood we will penalise that."

The proximity of the player whose hand or arm makes contact with the ball to where the ball was struck from will still be an important consideration for officials when making a decision to award handball or not.

You are confusing the BBC with private enterprise, and football with politics.

No understanding between Tzolis and any other player. Sarge works when we’re up against it but if we have the ball and need to create he doesn’t look capable

Some dodgy decisions going on here. Corners not being given, flags for offside going up when play is supposed to be allowed...

Absolutely! Refs been appalling. That offside flag was bizarre. It’s a marginal call that could have resulted in a mistake.
