Stuart Webber is staying

I think he's also done a bit of a u-turn in deciding to stay on, so I wouldn't pay much regard to what he may or may not do in the future.

Sounds like a future role in politics would be ideal!

I think the ball should be in TheRealBuh's court really, explaining why you can't.

Genuine Premier League facilities, stable financial position, two complete dominations of the Championship.

I'm glad that he's staying, although also glad we're taking it a year at a time.

And yes, I am actually making a point about literacy, and no you weren't literate enough to get that.

Read carefully...

I’m sorry, what?

What a difference a comma would have made in Buho’s post, TuB.  What with Dalyo missing a 'not' and Buho missing a comma, the peasants are  havin a field day today.

I think stress is a real factor. Before we switched to this new model all our managers seemed to age horribly in their time with us. This time Farke has come out looking exactly the same while things have clearly taken their toll on Webber whose weight has been all over the place, I think the side of the job Webber shares is the worst part, you still worry about results but you also have to do all the transfer work/contracts etc. You can almost physically see the toll he takes off of the head coaches shoulders. I don't envy him tbh and I get why he'd want a break from football

Right, who is it that’s demanding I explain myself yet again?

Genuinely can’t wait for tomorrow if we win again and you let your hair down and go wyld! Please ravage the board every Sat night when we win. No one is safe, no sacred cows and it’s a now holds barred sweat fest as to who takes the biggest roasting. It’s the stuff of fantasy and it gets me through

I still don’t really know what anybody wants me to do on this thread? I was asked to justify webber being an impact I think?

I don’t care about this thread in particular, I just want ultimate carnage when you’re on one as you’re a breath of fresh air. You and @Disco Dales Jockstrap are the hot tips right now! Long may it continue 😁

Tbf I might not, Southampton have wound me up the wrong way for a while. I don’t hate EVERY team but I’m not going to suck up to them, not when we need as much aggression as possible to go after this points total. Let’s see if Tilly’s campaign to get me banned goes any better this week.

You been talking about my hot tip again Danke? I thought that was our secret! It's all good now anyway - a tub of Germolene did the trick.

I'll try and create some 'ultimate carnage' tomorrow but I've been feeling as rough as Delia's bikini line today. I've got covid and was starting to feel a lot better but then felt off again today. More rest needed I think.

Sorry to hear you got Covut. If we win (or even draw) tomorrow I’ll expect some fire from you and Buh. Last weekend was an absolute riot, got me half floppy so I’m hoping for some more action tomorrow evening, Covut or no Covut you can still get your greasy KFC chicken fingers all over a keyboard to keep spirits high fella!

You were hot last Saturday night, any chance of a repeat this weekend?

Fair play TVB, your reputation for criticising Webber precedes you... I had automatically read Buh's post the way it was meant to be read and your response as a rebuttal - apologies.

''Noice! Can’t argue he’s NOT had a huge impact here''

I respect Webber for being decisive and sacking Farke, he's been brave and backed himself and his signings over sticking with a promotion specialist, and he's well on the way to being vindicated.

Webber got his slate wiped clean with me, even if I have to use Kensell as a convenient scapegoat for a few other decisions 😂

So pleased to see the back of the rigid 'Farke-ball' and a team out there showing spirit enjoying themselves.

Looks like Stuart Webber's signings were not the problem.... the coaching and intense discipline was.

  • Thanks 1
