The Great Mass Debater 1,084 Posted November 18, 2021 Polls can only have 20 options, so which 20 players should be in any poll on this forum? Huckerby, Holt and Hoolahan Id have thought were shoe-ins. Who else should be an option?
Rivvo 257 Posted November 18, 2021 Peters, Keelan, Forbes, Stringer, MacDougall, Butler, Allcock, Drury? God it’s hard!
Rottingdean canary 117 Posted November 18, 2021 Well I'd like to include Colin Suggett and Jimmy Neighbour but I doubt they will be in anybody else's top 20

Robert N. LiM 4,330 Posted November 18, 2021 Any list of favourites has surely got to include Bryan Gunn. I'd have thought Crook, Ruel Fox, Buendía and Pukki would have to be on the list too.
nutty nigel 7,528 Posted November 18, 2021 How many keepers would it have to have. At Still On The Ball Ken Nethercott was voted best ever keeper. So there'd be him, Keelan, Woods, Gunn and Krull?

All the Germans 1,075 Posted November 18, 2021 Mark Bowen for me. Honourable mentions to Grant Holt, Leon Mckenzie, Huckerby, Crook, Eadie, Gunn & Culverhouse.
Duncan Edwards 2,231 Posted November 19, 2021 (edited) My earliest “favourite” players were John Deehan and Kevin Drinkell. Craig Bellamy was a joy to watch as a teenager and I doubt I’ve ever enjoyed watching a player in the yellow more than Emi Buendia. Huckerby an obvious for inclusion. Some might say Goss for his tendency to score bangers (not sure it was all that many but certainly some memorable ones). Holt and Hoolahan two more that would be undoubtedly popular. If only he’d been signed slightly earlier Norwich would have survived. Great shout.
LaUnionCanary 86 Posted November 19, 2021 Basically this is mission impossible. Every person will have different favourites to every other. Ron Davies not yet mentioned yet, not Malky.

Sheva 123 Posted November 19, 2021 Another overlooked, Joe Royle. One of the best ever headers of a ball for City although I never saw Ron Davis. Brilliant at corners floated into the box. Good enough the play for England when we had many great strikers.……and a super nice man.
