Are we about to become ‘ Frank Lampards Norwich ‘

Recommended Posts

Betting companies offering a price on Franky boy are getting their hands bitten off. Favourite everywhere odds on some places.

Ha ha ha . There is more chance of us being Lord Lucan’s Norwich

Bookmakers raking it in if he isn’t.

Could do a lot lot worse. Likes bringing through young players (Mount, Reese James), is high profile and knows the EPL very well.

Sorry to be that guy but bookmakers rake it in whatever.

Some of the names people are apparently putting money on are mad though.

Who’s Pascal Jansen ? Massive move pushes Franky back out to evens and comes in everywhere between 6 and 8/1

manager of dutch side AZ

Jansen spent his early career coaching in the Netherlands at Haarlem, Vitesse and Sparta Rotterdam, and in the United Arab Emirates with Al Jazira and Al Wahda.[4]

Jansen worked as a coach at PSV between 2013 and 2018,[4] and was manager of their youth team between July 2015 and June 2017,[5] He moved to AZ to work as a coach in July 2018,[6] before being promoted to manager in December 2020, on a contract until the end of the season.[4]

win rate 60.47 % sounds good but only joined in dec 2020

Think that would be the better option if the alternative is Frank Lampard's Norwich......

Kjetil Knutsen's odds seem to be shortening a lot too - literally from out in the cold.

Interesting

Yeah Favre surely has to be on the shortlist. Quality boss, ex-Dortmund. Proven track record at managing egos. Fairly similar style to Farke but much more experienced and wiser.

Interesting

I just had a £1 on him and Jansen at 100/1, not all sites seen those moves yet.

Next manager markets are always a free for all, especially in the first few hours. Fun to watch though.

Funny enough I had a bit of a laugh last week on a thread sayin* he’s our next manager, highly rated and doing a very good job, but would he get a permit to work in the UK?

If it’s Frank, instead of golden goal we can have golden floodlights ie at what minute will they go out, or golden after how many minutes will motd take to call us Frank Lampards Norwich.

He would make sense as the most eligible German from the list on bookie's sites - whoever comes in will need to be completely okay with our model
