Second was worrying, showed up some of our physical weaknesses again and you can't leave someone unmarked like we did for their goal, that was shocking. There's a considerable difference between a team that's lacking confidence, and a manager that's lost the team, and our side has very much been in the former camp, even if both would look superficially similar. At the same time, one swallow doesn't make a summer, or indeed much of a p-o-r-n flick. Still a lot to remedy, but that should be a nice shot of confidence to the team. Petriix 2,835 Posted November 6, 2021 We did OK while the midfield were doing their jobs - a great balance between attack and defence. But that was absolute insanity towards the end. We took off our right sided midfielder for a left back and then looked bemused as to why we were being totally exposed down the right. Completely tactically inept and we were incredibly lucky to hang on. But let's look at the positives: PLM looks quite effective in the more advanced role, Rashica had a good game, so did Dowell. Just when you are not keeping hold of the ball you are doing more of the running than the opposition as you are chasing and closing down.
