Rudolph Hucker 0 Posted February 24, 2006 I refuse to see it as a possibility....but stranger things have happened. And what if it did? 49 points and 10 games left...a massive psychological boost...a little self belief creeping in.I long ago consigned this season to the scrap heap but Worthy has done late season runs before and a win at Palace would no doubt over-excite the gullible and fickle but for the rest of us doubters would also just plant the smallest of seeds.I know hope springs eternal with football fans and I am a little embarrased to think it but I also know how I would feel. Rudolph Hucker 0 Posted February 25, 2006 I thought I had qualified my earlier remarks with a healthy dose of realism. The suggestion of the post is that as football supporters we always cling to a bit of fantasy; and if we do win then wait for the ''what if'' posts to appear. The Club will certainly be pushing this line as they have got season tickets to sell and I have yet to purchase mine. Ramrod 258 Posted February 25, 2006 Optomistic fool that you are Hucker you probably do believe your own fantasies. The rest of us prefer to keep touch with reality.
