Does well on a budget. A winner. Played for us. Been around the leagues. Doing well at Coventry. I would get him in if I was at the club.

Well I have moaned about DF so thought I should give an opinion about his replacement. I would do this now before the next few winnable games. If not the season will be over.

Not to be greedy but may I suggest two managers? First a specialist at keeping us up. Then a specialist at progressing in the Premier League.

I doubt Robins could keep us up but he would be excellent for the Champ season and grow. Is he a Head Coach or a manager though? As we have the DoF role to consider

It is only a good shout of Robins and Culverhouse actually like each other, do we know that?

I don’t think anyone could keep us up. Farke’s record suggests he would be a better choice next season. But without proper investment we’ll finish 20th again. That’s where attention should be focussed, not on the coach, unless the limit of our ambition is simply to be an embarrassment to the PL.

Great shout! And regarding the past form of Robins ....who cares?

Let's get him in give him a go.

Farke has done a brilliant job for us but unfortunately cannot cut it in the Premiership. He has been given the budget this time and spunked it all on bang average Joe's whom I don't think would ever want to do it on a cold wet night in Stoke in the championship!

So Coventry’s manager who has a achieved a minimal amount in the lower leagues and kings lynn of the vanarama league’s manager are to be our saviours? How do you know whether robins and culverhouse even like each other.

Meanwhile, Watford exchanged their manager, who wasn’t doing too bad by the way, with premier league winner Claudio Ranieri.

it’s no wonder we are the laughing stock and no wonder we never get anywhere when our fans have this mentality that such an appointment would be deemed acceptable.

Come on people.

What about Roy Hodgson just till the end of the season?

They discussed this on the pink un podcast - would he come out of retirement… for one last job..

Plus Davitt reckons there doesn’t seem like any apparent call for Farke to leave in the hallways of Carra… yet…

Time for a new manager. Robins is our man (if only we could afford to sack Fake and buy Robins)

The sad thing is… I don’t care if Fake stays and I go into games expecting zero points. I don’t think that I am alone with this thinking (apart from LDC aka Lakey’s Deluded Commentary)!!

Fake benefited from having Buendia in the Championship… we barely won if he wasn’t playing! So perhaps he was more important than the manager and his tactics!!

Surely you’ve seen how Norwich do business by now? Everyone would like a Raineri to come in, but it is usually a cheaper option. Robins or Wilder are the ideal shouts.

I would love a Pep, Klopp etc but a) they are not coming here b) we cannot afford this type of manager and c) Robins, Wilder, Martin etc are realistic shouts for Norwich under Smith and Jones. It is them or a youth team manager from Germany. (Webber will go for the German manager)

Not for me. I've made no secret of the fact I'm not a huge fan of possession based football in this current era for football. Teams are so big, quick , fit and athletic now that it is very difficult to play around them without exceptional quality. You can do it in the Championship, teams have to play more games so they have to leave a little in the tank every game in terms of running and pressing, they are not teams of super athletes like in the PL and if you give up chances they often won't punish you. At this level...not for me. If we are going to replace Farke I would want us to alter the playing philosophy at the same time which means not bringing in another coach who tries to play the same way.

I like Robins though and he's done a wonderful job at that club, for his sake personally he should stay there, managers are often too quick to leave a good thing, he's the perfect Coventry manager, if I was him I'd stay put for a while.

I’m not saying a pep or a klopp of course, but I’m sure there are a whole array of suitable coaches that lie between Joke suggestions of Russell Martin or Mark Robins (with a vanarama assistant) and Pep or Klopp.

We are (for a little while) a premier league club and it’s about time our on pitch aspirations reflected that.

Send Farke on gardening leave. Get 'Woy' in to at least gain some respectability in the league, and then DF will be refreshed and ready for a third time lucky in the Chumps.

Farke is tinkering and flailing about with tactics and selections, which is not normally his style. He pretends to be calm, but is clearly under massive pressure. The hitherto steadying influence has become shaky and inconsistent.

We need a new brush sweeping clean in the changing room, one that brings players like Sorensen, and now Gianoullis and, especially, Cantwell back in from the cold and one which casts a new eye on the likes of McLean, Rupp and even Sargent.

Farke is stuck in mud. It needs an expert to effect a cleaning operation. A level head.

Certainly neither a Robins nor a Martin. That's back to the McNally, hit or bust, take a risk days and more suited to the Championship. Neither has the slightest managerial experience in the top league.

If it's to be a complete schism, then top of my wish list would be a Nuno Espirito Santo type figure, if available and willing. Apparently he's under threat at Spurs.

It would be nice to have a really big name for once. Imagine that level of manager at Little Old Carrow Road? For once! For a frequent (very) visitor to the Premier League we never actually seem to act like one. We dine at the top table, but never hold the cutlery correctly and spill too much.

Of course, his like would need a sizeable remuneration and a war chest, but that's another matter. So much so that I could be accused of daydreaming because thinking big is not for us. We know our place.

And then what? Sack him after we gain promotion (which I actually think will be a long shot next season)?

This idea has no legs. If we want Farke here in the Championship next season, then we have to put up with him for the rest of the Premier League season and whilst my flame of optimism that he can perform a miracle and turn it around hasn't fully extinguished, I accept that if he stays the likelihood is the best we can hope for is beating Derby's record. Let's be honest, we've had two of the easiest opportunities to gain three points at home in Watford and Leeds, and the easiest opportunity to gain three points away from home when we played Burnley with their miserable home record, and managed 1 point out of what should have been 9 banked points.

Roy would be a significant upgrade on Fake.

The bloke is 74 years old, whilst I don’t doubt his pedigree, I simply can’t get behind appointing someone of that age to manage a side in 2021.
