First things first - Nobody is going to buy us.

Recommended Posts

Lots of talk on here about new owners etc as I’ve said many, many times. NOBODY IS GOING TO BUY US. Nobody WANTS to buy us. We are a very very VERY unattractive investment opportunity for many reasons (solvent, low debt, not anywhere near london, unlikely to accept a bid from international criminal who has to live on a yacht offshore or the literal mafia) and there are no known “local hero” billionaires who will buy us as a passion project because they’ve always loved Norwich City.

Then let Delia and MWJ put the club up for sale publicly and prove it. If no-one comes in, fair enough. But they won’t because they don’t want to let it go, and the public position they they won’t let it go is why no-one’s come in.

You have no idea if anyone has tried to buy their shares. It wouldn't be a public discussion.

To suggest no one would want to buy the club is rubbish. Even Ipswich found a buyer. It's more a question of whether they'd be welcomed

Nobody wants to buy us. We have always been for sale realistically. We are undeniably a very unattractive business prospect.

if we had p1ssed all our money away and lived beyond our means we’d be more likely to attract a billionaire wanted by Interpol but as it is we are effectively to stable a business for this to be so.

Why? Some Americans bought Ipswich.
not saying it is going well but they found a buyer so there will always be a buyer its only if Delia will sell.

Exactly, and because it’s never been a public decision, we get dross threads like this, claiming that no-one wants to buy a club that’s spent multiple recent seasons in the EPL, sells out the ground every home game and has world-class facilities and international players. It’s utter rubbish.

The Stowmarket Two won't sell.

It's a shame the club is more interested in self promotion than promotion.

They bought them because they were easy pickings. At their lowest ebb probably ever. We aren’t easy pickings. It’s simple business.

There is a buyer somwhere for everything. It is about a deal being right for both.

Never say never. Nephew Tom might inherit the ownership but he'll have to earn the goodwill himself. Might turn out to be a poison chalice that he can't wait to get rid of.

It’s about being an attractive business proposition. A Saudi Prince might want us… but why? So many factors against us from our solvency, ownership of assets, geography. It’s just incredibly unlikely. The newcastle sale has made some fans think “why aren’t we being bought by a billionaire?”

im not pro or against being bought because there isn’t a buyer. I can’t make a decision until there is and it’s unlikely there will be so it’s a moot point

This is pure opinion and a rather stupid one. I know some of you old boys still fantasise about 1980s Delia Smith but let her go seriously… it’s creepy and holding the club back.

If investors can look at Ipswich and somehow see a profit in taking them over then I'm sure there are people willing to buy us

The “investors” who bought ipswich didn’t look at them and think “profit”

the vultures that bought ipswich bought them and thought “mmmm lunchtime”

All the reasons you’re listing as to why Norwich won’t be bought are also applicable to Newcastle. And you’re desperate attempts to try and discredit any foreign owner as a criminal only highlights your xenophobia

Have a day off

“xenophobia”, based on absolutely nothing I’ve said

you like to drown puppy’s, I base that on the posts you’ve put on here and it’s equal to what you’ve levelled at me. Stop drowning puppy’s, weirdo.

Somebody bought Barnsley..

Rumours are that Ben Kensall has said that there are plenty of willing buyers/investers and the current owners won't sell and are holding the club back

You’d hear concrete rumours if investment was incoming. It’s fantasy that some fans think Delia is stopping someone who’s loaded from buying us. A total coping mechanism.

business facts are business facts, we aren’t an attractive business proposition. Facts.
