I don’t think so. I can’t see anything that would suggest we should be looking at promotion from the championship next season. This current lot look like mid table championship contenders at best

We beat Bournemouth 6-0

I love Daniel, given so much to us as fans over the last few years.

But any club would act on the record he has at this level, it is truly poor.  For me this is why Webber earns the big bucks, he’s got to call it and demonstrate that NCFC have some balls and are prepared to take a risk to stay up.  Ultimately things can only improve and the next few games we simply have to get at least 10 points from to avoid being cut away too soon.
Someone who can sort out confidence and belief, that I feel remains our biggest issue right now.  Or are we just truly ****e!!!!???

Not sure really, I cant tell if its him, the player or the summer transfer work which is most to blame. Likely a blend of all 3, though at the moment Im struggling to believe our current side would beat last years formation and starting 11.

You say that, but if we're going down anyway, you have to think about the season after that. Farke is proven at Championship level, and not only that he is the chosen one, after the failures of Adams and Neil, in terms of making the academy bear fruit.

Appointing the wrong manager now, who sees us relegated anyway and doesnt do any of that, or get us back up could see the club go backwards again.

But I don’t want to be relegated which should be plan A. At least let’s try.

You don't have to be a Stoke or a Burnley type team though. Brentford made it tough for them recently, Sheffield United took 4 points off them 2 seasons ago without being long ball backs to the wall types etc etc.

And then what happened to Sheffield Utd? Brentford I predict will go the way of the Blades and Reading. Great first season, then second season syndrome. We dont want to be a one-season wonder anymore than we want to be a yoyo club

Honestly I dont care. I just want to stay up for at least one season. Stay up once then we can worry about how long term the solution is...

It may not, but we have at least have to try rather than just face the inevitable.

It was a total lack of unprofessionalism on the pitch and a complete shambles off it with Farke's public spat with Cantwell. Claiming he was injured when Todd says he isn't.

Virtually everyone on here agreed it was a good transfer window, most agreed it was a great idea to sell Buendia, down to Farke now they said. Well here we are more than a quarter of the season gone, and were worse than we were two seasons ago.

Time for change.

Not sure anyone said it was a great idea to sell Buendia. Buendia wanted to go and Im not sure there is much you can do than get the best price possible in those circumstances. We all wanted Emi to stay. He wanted out

My Villa supporting mates all think he's out of his depth at this level anyway.

Hypothetically if we did keep Farke and got promoted again, surely the club would have every right to bin him off after promotion?

Perhaps a structured exit rather than a sacking (this will be my final season, let him go on, hopefully, a high), or allow him to go to an interested club.

I've been adamant in defending Farke, but he seems to have lost his faith in playing his own style and seems incapable on building more defensive approach. Feeling sad, but voted out.

Couldn't bring myself to pick yes ad the man deserves a lot of admiration for what he's done. If it doesn't pick up in next two games I hope he walks to be honest.

No point playing to keep clean sheets and pic up draws now. We need wins or it's over before Xmas.  Revert to 4231, get Cantwell, Rashica and Tzolis behind Pukki and let's at least try to score.

The whole mentality and change of set up is hugely damaging. It has the makings of someone who is second guessing himself and has left a team devoid of a plan and confidence.  We know the current playing field in the PL and that we were odds in to go down. Just give it a go.

Seeing as we will lose Gibson to suspension and Zimbo needs surgery leaving Omo our only other CB, return to the back 4 seems sensible. But we need more discipline from Max and whoever plays left back if we're going to do that. I do think Sorenson might be worth a role as we would benefit from a DM. Normann saw let a number of players ghost past him today which we cant allow to continue. Lees-Melou seemed to be improving but was anonymous today. May well be time to throw down the gauntlet to Gilmour now. Changes need ringing after that

The timing of this poll doesn't help but I am in a similar boat to you. Maybe when I've calmed down a bit I might change my mind again but I doubt it.

We can't afford a better model.

Yes we can. Kjetil Knutsen the manager og Bodø/Glimt Will leave Glimt in January.

We can then geth him for around 2 Mill pound.

So lets sign Knutsen now. But dont tell the media before we fire Farke in January the first

Thing is it really needs to start with a win against Leeds doesn't it? Just to keep fans on side for a bit longer.

Don’t beat Leeds and Carrow Road could get nasty.

Im sorry to say it but I dont think Farke can turn this around. It's a big ask of any manager, lets be realistic, but we havent improved from our last Premiership stint, in fact you could argue we're worse, after a fair investment this time round. Last tiem we did have a few games where we were the better side (Newcastle comes to mind), but this season it is hard to point to any positive.

Farke has done brilliantly with us and there is so much to commend him on. But we are a million miles away and heading in the wrong direction.

I do think we need to look elsewhere. Who that is though I havent a clue. But the season is still recoverable. Just not under Farke, sad as I am to say it.

We are not just worse than our last season in the premiership we are worse than last season in the championship

The players don’t pick the team. Most of the players signed have not featured much if at all. £25 million of talent on the bench today at least.

it’s all well and good saying we will sell buendia and these two (Tzolis and Rashica) will make up for it but how can they do anything from the bench or in a system with one arm tied behind their back

If we have such a talented bunch of signings then they aren't being coached right or don't fit our system. So is it the coach or the recruiter?

Both I think.

Its such a shame because DF is such a nice guy and has given us as much joy as despair. But the club is far more important than anything else.

The owners have gone on record how much they dislike it - and that's just on the record - but they're happy to take the money. If D&M were serious about staying in this league, Farke would have gone ages ago. I reiterate, the club does not want to be in the EPL.

Nor do the fans want to be in this league. Otherwise the Socialists would have been run out of town ages ago. This is not Newcastle.

I can’t bring myself to vote on this question, if you do another on the owners I wouldn’t hesitate.

Can we set up another vote on the owners please - as Farke is victim in all of this.

I want a lot of things but I realise most of them are unrealistic.

Its a fine balance between realistic hopes and wishful thinking.
