Amazing how Harry Kane's goal is allowed by VAR

Also, haven't they changed the implementation to be more sensible in the last two years? So a comparison to a different set of rules is not particularly relevant? I assume disallowing the Pukki goal was probably (a small) part of the reason the rule is a little more lenient now.

Correct. There were loads of ridiculous offsides in 19/20 and 20/21, of which Pukki's was one of many.

Not really considering Kane was a yard onside. It's amazing how VAR needed to intervene as it was obvious on first viewing.

VAR is correct about offside. How else would it measure other than with lines and the parameters it works within? The fact that it is precise is what annoys most people.
