The clouds have gone grey and things turn sour with Buendia

Recommended Posts

That's a classic article , taken from another article, that doesn't actually say anything.

Buendia cannot demand to start (as far as we know he has demanded anything) , it isn't a "worry" (no one said it was ) and he might (or might not) start against Wolves.

In other news, according to Cambridge Canary , Graham Paddon's Beard cannot demand that he becomes King of the World , even though GPB hasn't said anything of the sort, and it isn't a concern that GPB may not be King of the World just yet. (or indeed ever) .

It's happened time and time again with Norwich players trying to improve their standing in football.

Well, the article doesn't have much in it, but it is not unreasonable to assume that Buendia's stock has taken a knock after his stupidity over the last international break - it put him in a bad light at a time he should have been thinking about doing the right thing by his new club and he will have to fight to get his place back.  Can't knock Villa from that point of view either, the players that took his place have been doing well and he will have to wait his chance again - from the bench.

He wanted to go from us and now he's gone, we should have moved on by now and realised that we would have been stuck with the fallout from his International misdeamnours and his temperament, which has not always been easy to handle.  Farke seemed to deal with him well.....I wonder if Smith has the skills to get the best out of him as Farke did. Personally, I doubt it.

The trouble is that like a certain (expletive deleted) person, GPB might want to become King of the World, and to have been King of the World, but not actually to be King of the World and do the work which comes with the title.

I suppose we'll have to wait until the Birmingham Mail interview Gabby Agbonlahor to really understand the GPB/King of the World story.

He's chasing his first cap though.

Some players like Eadie come close to a cap but never quite manage it.

Ashton retired within just 1 cap didn't he? It is a huge thing to get that first cap. I'd have done the same. Also, the keeper went with him.

its a huge thing to become a pro footaller,

Its another huge thing to play in the top tier,

Its an even huger thing to get international recognition.

Professional sports people have different goals and mindsets to normal people.
