Positives only from Yesterday?

Recommended Posts

Let's try to focus on some positives here. Goodness knows we all need something:

  • It was a better overall performance against Everton. Overall.
  • Sergeant, Normann & Kabak got more minutes under their belts.
  • Sergeant put in another good shift.
  • Aarons seemed to bomb forward more. We haven't seen that for awhile.
  • Normann showed good moments.
  • Kabak can burst forward with the ball, passing players. Not seen that before.

Anything else?

You know its not Sergeant don't you.

I have to disagree on the performance. I thought it was one of our worst considering we set up not lose.

We're ditching £19m worth of new wingers and playing a wing back system.

Oh!

That incident was very close to being a pen for them as TK started to foul BG as the ball was going out of play , he then made a joke of it, which was smart, asas for a split second it looked v dodgy to me.

Normann was our best player yesterday in my opinion. He's looking like our best signing of the bunch.

Not much else to say that's positive about yesterday. Nobody should feel positive about losing.

TVB,

I don’t think it’s as black and white as that. I think we are trying to find a base to build from and stop conceding poor goals to stay in games longer. I think we will continue to integrate the new wingers, hopefully after we start to pick up some points and gain a level of momentum.

I agree with your point on physicality, we do look too soft but we have these players now and I think Farke needs to get the best out of them. At the start of his reign we were turgid and then burst into life as the ever optimistic I’m hoping for the same.
