*Cough*, Brentford conceded 3 goals, just like Norwich, surely it is their attack we should be praising?.......

I have to hold my hand up. I did doubt whether Toney had the credentials to step it up to the Premier League and he has done so successfully. He follows in the footsteps of other players who have stepped up from League 1 to the Premier League in quick succession and adapted and improved just as fast.

If he is still a Brentford player at the end of next summer, they will have done very, very good business. He has the height, power and pace that could yet see him in an England/international shirt. At 25 he is just coming into his peak and it's clear he is vital to their attacking edge, chipping in with another assist today.

Pukki is quality, and is/has been a great player for us, but he is a very different player. Toney, for me, is a bit like Holt or Vardy in that he can drag a game into a more favourable position. He only needs a moment in a game to help turn it.
