TeemuVanBasten 3,327 Posted September 18, 2021 (edited) But then sack him if we get relegated. And none of this sacking with 5 games to go stuff. Just a handshake and thanks, and try something new, if we get relegated this season. Just an acceptance that if we don't stay up this time, we need to try and win promotion with a different man with some different tactical ideas. To have a chance of staying up he's going to have to work out what his best XI is as soon as possible, and including Gilmour in todays line up suggests that he's not got that sussed out yet. Sack him if we get relegated? This makes no sense. Farke’s been immense in the Champs. It’s the Prem where he’s not looking too clever. No point keeping him all this season and then sack him when we’re back in the Champs. If things don’t improve quickly, let’s sack him soon. I love Farke and I’m desperately hoping he turns this ‘round. But today was a disaster and it’s a results business. Essjayess 307 Posted September 18, 2021 I expect us to break Sunderlands 20 match loss record, i said this before the season started, said it will take at least..at least...10-15 games for these new guys to gel with the existing guys, said this would for sure mean another relegation and also have said the one big issue at end season will be trying to keep hold of Normann and Kabak. So, Farke to go?...absolutely not..he and SW at the start wanted this club to be a consistent top 25/26 club...the last 3 seasons we have been a consistent top 21 club...trick is to go a few places higher than that. One posting here said results are the business...how true...but its the results from two Champ titles and promotions thats given us two seasons in the Prem, and the money that goes with it...to transform this club into a self funding solidity that no other club can get close to..and this is thx to SW off the pitch and DFs guys on the pitch. Yea...its absolutely brutal on the pitch right now..but to change it risks more than on field results...it risks a complete club downturn thats been built up over 4 seasons..if you cant see the risks of that then its blinkered time. GJL Mid-Norfolk Canary 1,747 Posted September 18, 2021 You dont think we should do everything to try and stay in this league?...even try a different manager? No manager is so bullet proof that thy can survive an indefinite number of straight defeats

kenfoggo 247 Posted September 18, 2021 Under what circumstances will this Club get rid of Farke? The last 15 Premiership games with him in charge we have lost them all! 15 straight defeats! FIFTEEN games on the trot, all lost. Please tell me what other Club would entertain that performance as satisfactory?
Canary Wundaboy 1,359 Posted September 18, 2021 Can’t agree with this, either sack him now and let someone else with a bit of EPL nous give us a fighting chance to stay up, or keep him regardless, give him next season to get us back up and then sack him when the season’s over and get someone new in. Sacking him if we go down would be foolish, as he has a proven track record of getting promotion. I'd have much more confidence of bouncing straight back up with Farke than AN Other.
