I literally had to type your name and BV's into a search and that was one of the immediately interesting thread titles. I can't be bothered to look properly but always worth remembering what you post. But you've essentially accused BV of being a binner for years and years - only to now suddenly decide he's not and he's talking truths that others can't see.

Anyone would think you were an online troll yourself...

I am entitled to change my mind and having read his posts during the last few years since 2016 it has become obvious he is not a Binner.

Anybody would think you are a poster basher.

Oh! So you were wrong.

When did you decide he wasn't a binner? Was it 2017? 2018? 2020 maybe? Certainly, his posts haven't changed whatsoever.

Quite some while ago but as i said earlier his knowledge of our history stood out as him not being a Binner. As for being wrong not a problem at all to admit it.

Farke is the worst top flight manager the club has ever had. Even Neil Adams got a draw at Chelsea. A record of 31 defeats out of 42 EPL games would have resulted in dismissal at any other club. But Norwich of course have to stick to their "principles" and the "Norwich Way" even if these are clearly not working for the second time in three years at this level.

There was a cameo late in the game yesterday where Krul was trying to play out from the back and nearly wound up conceding another goal when he should have been thinking of getting it up to Idah as quickly as possible. It was this little cameo that demonstrated what is wrong with Farke's approach. He is incapable of any other plan than Plan A. He is not able to do any one thing well whether it is scoring goals or stopping them going in. If you don't have the quality to score at least make yourself into a good bus and park it where the opposition don't want it. I would rather be the worst side in the league because our opponents hate to play us rather than the worst side in the league because we are a national laughing stock.

And it is ridiculous for numpty supporters to keep coming on here saying the season starts with the next game. Always the next game and plenty of excuses as to why they didn't do the business in the previous games. Are Norwich fans going to be saying the season starts with match 38 after they have lost the previous 37? The only fan with any sense of reality is "Negative Mark" from Canary Call who asked: "Do we really want to be in this league?" and stated we would have 1 point by October. The rest of the supporters are all tucked up in bed with Farke, Webber and the Socialists.

I don't know why that guy from Sport Talk backtracked on his comments about Norwich because he was spot on the first time around and if he had known better would surely not have caved in to numpty pressure.

It is telling that the two players who have questioned Farke's tactics now find themselves out of the team.

But Farke is the best championship manager we've ever had. We get great entertainment every other year which is more than most so I say keep him and one day we might take that leap forward we are looking for.

Why is it you can't criticise this club without being accused of being Ipswich? Newcastle fans have been known to frequently have a go at their club, the owner(s), whether that's Ashley or Freddie Shepherd, so are they Sunderland because they do so???

Also, some of those Midlands fans start to turn as soon as they lose possession, so any criticism around here is pretty tame by comparison.

Just to put back some doubt many people have told me it was the style of football that Archie Macaulay instilled when he replaced Tom Parker. Macaulay's 59ers outplayed and outpassed some of the best teams in the land.

💛🏆💚

Lost their way again under Lol Morgan before arguably Norwich's best ever manager arrived in 1969 to take them to the promised land with a style of football and coaching methods that became typical of the most successful sides of the 1970s and 80s.

In all honesty, knowing the integrity and honesty of Farke, if he fails to make it work for us this season and we go down bottom of the league without a real fight, he will accept he cannot achieve premier standards with the tools at his disposal and with the tactics he wants to play and will resign at the end of the season and let someone else have a go. For sure the board won’t fire him.

You have the date wrong. John Bond became the manager in 1973.

I assumed Vinnie meant Ron Saunders and all those successful managers of the 70s and 80s who had their teams running up and down Mousehold.

I know who he meant, nutty! And I admire Saunders for what he did, taking a group of not that talented players to the top flight for the first time. But as you indicate it was achieved through hard work rather than revolutionary tactics or training methods.

Going to introduce him to you Housey.

"This is the guy that wanted you sacked in 2018, 2020 and again now"

Do you ever wonder 'if only they'd listened to me'?

It is very noticeable that you have purposely set out to go to great lengths to find something factually incorrect about this thread and having found nothing of the sort have had to come back tail between legs confirming that I have been correct all along. Game, set and match to Vince again.

That 11th place finish was achieved - and this later proved to be a sign of things to come - despite gaining three fewer points than did Lambert in finishing 12th. And although there is a good chance one will play at least one team already on the beach towards the end of the season Hughton had the luck to find two, in West Brom and Man City.

It was a 3-0 win over West Brom, who were not so much on the beach as in the bar, with drink taken, as they say in court, having been on the beach and then at a nightclub, and who gifted us two goals, by way of their goalie missing his kick and allowing Holt to walk the ball in, followed by a splendid own-goal header at a corner.

Hughton then squandered* a transfer budget that was not only comfortably the largest in the club's history but also one of the three or four biggest net spends that summer of any club in Europe.

No, we weren't in the bottom three but our trajectory was inescapably down. We had lost four of the previous six and our performance against West Brom, after which he was sacked, exemplified just why the board acted. We conceded an earlyish goal and never ever looked like there was any urgency or plan from Hughton to get us back into the game. He would not attack for fear of conceding a second. The result? We lost.

And the board came to the inevitable conclusion, backed apparently by Hughton telling them he would not change his policy, that we would lose the last five if he stayed. Not least since in the reverse fixtures we had lost all five with a goal difference of 4/15. Adams outperformed Hughton by getting a draw at Chelsea.

*Don't take my word. Bowkett said just that.

You missed this fact-based post then, Big Vince.
