Arsenal predictions

I prefer that percentages approach:

Arsenal win: 40%

Draw: 35%

Norwich win: 25%

Sorry, but we are away and the Gunners are more likely to break their duck than us. We have a decent chance of getting something though, imo.

I think it’s more

Arsenal 66%

Draw 27%

Norwich 15%

108 % for bookies.

Yet, you've previously predicted a 2-2 draw.

I never quite know where these precise score predictions come from.

I prefer the Finkle approach.

Yes I’ve predicted a draw but highlighted the possible percentage options. They aren’t precise predictions just a fun guess.

We're gonna get a tonking unfortunately. I sincerely hope I'm wrong though.

I think that we are too good for that.

The odds are against, slightly+, but even an Arsenal side on form wouldn't tonk us.

Arsenal have all their key players back so will probs go at us. We therefore need to be tight but that's not really our game at all.

Going for 2 nil Arsenal.

Soccer six gone 1-1 hoping we might get result and nobody else will have this result.  Need to keep it goalless for as long as poss, early goal will deflate any optimism.

5-1 Arsenal, unfortunately we’ll play the three holding midfield system which will give Arsenal the time and space they’ve not had thus far!

If we’re brave and go at them where they are weak, with a Cantwell, Rashica, Dowell or Tzolis behind Pukki, and push up on them closing them down then it’ll be a different game!

Norwich win

Should have added "hope I'm right"

This thread is a depressing read. Arsenal are 1/2 which is massive for a result as obvious as this thread is predicting.

How much of my house should I invest?

This is 100% our best opportunity to beat Arsenal on their patch for many years.  They are under pressure, home fans sniffing blood, new players under pressure to live up to their over the odds price tag:

Arsenal 3 - 1 Norwich

Arsenal 1 - 2 Norwich

Arsenal to get a lucky goal first half.

Tzolis to come of the bench and inspire a comeback with a goal and assist.

I might go put a fiver on it.

The thing is, if this was a cup game in April last year I'd be confident of winning, but for some reason PL fixtures don't seem to turn out many surprises.

I don't think we're going to improve until we start playing a DM and Tzolis gets into top gear. That won't be the case for this game, i think this will be the last game of our bad start instead of the first of our 'proper' season. I'm going 3-1 Arsenal, then we'll get one of our bogey teams out of the way next. Then hopefully by Everton away we'll be at our best and playing our best team, I think that game is where we'll get our first point and then we'll go on a bit of a run after that.
