Chris Lakey''s player ratings:NORWICHRobert Green, 7: Made some good stops, although perhaps a little lucky to escape punishment after his collision with Haynes.Craig Fleming, 6: Strong enough and tried to get forward whenever he could.Gary Doherty, 6: In and out sort of game: some good stuff, some well below his normal standard.Zesh Rehman, 7*: A promising debut. Good in the air and looks to be able to read the game well.Adam Drury, 6: Never really got his attacking hat on.Andy Hughes, 6: Might be a tad annoyed at being taken off at half-time. Didn’t do that much wrong did he?Youssef Safri, 6: Not at his best. Looked tired at times. Saying that, his pass for the goal was sublime.Dickson Etuhu, 5: One or two bright patches, but pretty much a peripheral figure.Paul McVeigh, 5: Shifted out to the flank and bang went the influence he’s had in recent games.Robert Earnshaw, 5: Hasn’t played much recently and it showed. One sight of goal and he made it easy for the keeper.Jonatan Johansson, 7: Took his goal well and hit a post. More to come when he gets match fit.Subs:Darren Huckerby, 5: Never really got into the game at all.Carl Robinson, 5: Most telling contribution was a shocking tackle on Currie.Jason Shackell, 5: Good to see him back.

IPSWICHLewis Price, 6: Didn’t do much wrong – but wasn’t exactly stretched to the limitFabian Wilnis, 7: Responded to the taunts by playing well, particularly in the first half.Richard Naylor, 7: One half of a physically strong partnership that read almost everything correctly.Jason de Vos, 6: Caught out for Norwich’s goal.Scott Barron, 6: Youngster did well, particularly with his willingness to go forward.Gavin Williams, 6: Went off with a knock – had no real influence on the game.Jimmy Juan, 7: Got a touch lucky with his free-kick but there’s no doubting his quality.Owen Garvan, 6: Probably the least influential of the midfield, but that’s not a criticism.Matt Richards, 7: Converted left-back who has taken to his new position like a duck to water.Darren Currie, 8*: Creative player who provides the unexpected. Just what every Championship team needs.Alan Lee, 7: Irritating presence who bumped his way into troublesome positions. Good on the ground – shame he spent too much time on it trying to get free kicks.Subs:Danny Haynes, 7: Controversial winning goal, but Haynes was a handful, with his pace and control.Sito Castro, 6: Not enough time to assess.

What did Hughes do that was positive. Shocking peformance.

Jury was out for a while and at times he has played the odd decent pass, but he isn''t up to the standard and has to go as there is limited creative ability at best. Whats the point of playing him as a right sided player when you are looking for a creative spark. Only considered postion should be right back.

Did you all have a good mass debate - or was it all a bit of a damp squib? I take it that extracts from the discussion will be published in tomorrow''s EDP?
