Pinkun Pressers Coverage

Recommended Posts

I usually quite enjoy following the press conference coverage but it's getting a bit much having 3+ journalist all tweeting the same things so the feed is just repeated different wordings of the same thing.

I've actually closed it down because of the annoyance. Anyone else feeling the same?

Farke saying Tzolis has calf issues post-Tuesday has darkened my mood somewhat. Unless it's pure gamesmanship.

Was only ever going to be on the bench anyway.

Bigger worry is Sargent who also has a muscle problem and will have 3 USA games over international break, can see him being shot by the time he gets back.

Farke hinted he would be involved at the weekend so can't imagine it's that bad. For those guys it was their first competitive game for us, they were always going to get knocks and niggles from it

Very concerned about Mumba's (albeit brief) dislocated knee cap!  Usually if that happens once, it will invariably continue to pop out!  I cannot see that not requiring an operation.

The US have 3 games in 6 days over the international break, the last one finishing in Honduras about 48 hours before Norwich kick off against Arsenal. Due to injuries in their squad Sargent will be their only experienced striker and likely to play the majority of all three games, even a minor problem now could become a big one after 270 mins of football over 6 days in three different countries.

333 million people and Sargent is the only striker they can find?!

That's a bit harsh Bethnal, I think we need more details about his bottom problem 😁 but it doesn't warrant shooting him.

Unbelievable scheduling - 3 WC qualifiers in 6 days, and the same again happens in October. Not to mention the travel time in getting back to Norwich.

Happens again in the January and March international breaks as well. COVID is still impacting international fixtures unfortunately and Sargent will cover a lot of miles this year with USA duty.
