Amartey? Benkovic? One of the full backs? Soyuncu and Amartey are likely to be the centre back pairing - Leicester fans really aren't keen on Amartey and some are saying that Ndidi might get moved there as he has done that before. Pukki had Soyuncu on toast both times he played him in 19/20, so hopefully he can do that again. Key is to press Leicester high and not give them time to build anything - although that can play into Vardy's hands - it is a tricky balance.
It's Character Forming 1,160 Posted August 27, 2021 It was an oddity last time in the Prem that we looked better against some of the better teams such as Leicester or Man City while when we were playing Burnley/Watford etc we struggled to make an impact. The lower Prem sides are generally pretty good at getting goals from set pieces, being very solid in defence, and managing the game if they get in front, plus they have a level of physicality particularly in midfield which we struggled with. Often you watch them and think they're not really very good, but nevertheless we really struggled to make an impact. I think how we adjust to that this season will be the key to whether or not we survive.

Soyuncu looked like he really struggled under West Ham's pressure and that led directly to their second goal. I'd be very tempted to see if we can start both Sargent and Pukki and use that work rate to keep the back 4 under pressure.

You are probably right, but then 2 of those have already dropped points against teams who some on here predicted would struggle this season. Leicester definitely isn't a free hit. Get your point but generally you expect to lose those eight games and not be particularly disappointed if you do. I dont put Leicester in that bracket.
