Truth can be painful.

We won't stay in this league conceding goals at this rate no matter who we play.

I fully agree (with the second paragraph after the condescending nonsense).

My criticism of you (and many others) is the clear lack of patience. 2 games in and you have moaned of a long season ahead and that we’ve learnt nothing. 2 games is not enough data, well  in my opinion anyway.

We beat teams in the PL playing this way, we have more transfers to make, we need time for new players to live our system and it’s two games against Man City and Liverpool.

As I say, happy to converse and debate. You seem to just want to talk at me or about me.

So true this.

Hate Leeds Utd - But their attitude is refreshing, just going up isn't enough.

So, did the fans' attitude change when they were promoted as opposed to the years of abject failure and mediocrity following their fall from grace?

What the flying f*ck do the fans or the board have to do with us losing to one of the best teams in the world?

Get a grip you pant-wetting fanny. Utterly pathetic. More toothless than our midfield today, and that's saying something.

Hogesar. I never thought I'd say this. BUT I agree with you and youre correct 😳🧐 x

It isn’t 2 games- it’s also the entire last season  we were in this division when we spent £3.50 and proved dismal.

Didn't stop them conceding 5 to their biggest rivals either..

Make a bit more challenge and noise?

Do you mean support the players more vocally? This doesn't seem consistent with the earlier statement.

Which bit of '...at least...' was not sufficiently clear to you?

Steady on.

Leeds did well last year because of their fans. But when they were stuck in L1 and the Championship for over a decade, it wasn't the fans.

Don't you get it?

Not an unexpected result, but a very poor performance. Doesn’t hurt too badly when you play well and lose anyway but we barely laid a glove on them and some of our players had a shocker. I don’t think the formation helped, Farke seems unwilling to ever choose a more defensive formation to try and stifle and restrict the opposition, and Pukki up front cuts a lonely figure when he can’t hold the ball up or out-muscle defenders. We’d have been better off with Sargent today.

Hogesar specialises in hurling ad hominem  abuse at anyone who questions the board. He seems happy to make up the numbers whenever we are promoted

I think that summed us up. Good move, Todd clear and swallowed up by players still playing hard when 5-0 up in the last minute of stoppage time.

That's the thing. We need to be right in the faces of teams like MC ....we cannot compete at the footballing side given the difference in class. Need to do a Burnley and be ar5eholes. Not one yellow card even! Yet every time we got across the halfway line they were cynically cutting us off. Bullied in a way. Not that I want to see is play like Burnley but at times in certain matches you have to be more 'strategic' or tactical.

Anyway, it's out of the way now. Leicester and Arsenal ought to be easier for us. And secondly, I do expect us to give a better account of ourselves.

Different team and formation. How far back do you want to go? We were rubbish against Fulham 16 years ago weren’t we..

Are you saying we can only reasonably expect to compete against Watford?

We have a week left in the transfer window and by Christ must we use it and every available penny to strengthen that midfield.

I didn't think we needed Williams but we clearly do.

Powder puff performance and hopefully that's out of the way for the season. We now need to up our game against Leicester and Arsenal to get us in a good place for the Watford game - lose that then it will be looking very ominous already.

You could get a grip and actually deal with the opinions on here as well instead of sniping like a child. Say what you really think.

What do people expect? We lose to one of the worlds best club sides right now, and DCB has the audacity to blame a culmination of the fans and the board for it?

Nope. Nowhere did I say that.

‘We beat teams playing this way’ is what I said. One of those teams being Man City. We were awful today but I think it is unfair to write off the season after 2 games with the transfer window still open and a lot of new players to bed in.

A few people are saying about rupp not being good enough. Now this is a long shot but, drop rupp, put big andy cdm with gilmour and Lees melou either side of him? When we attack he can make a back 3 and allow full backs to push on too? I know he's a young lad but just an idea.

People are letting emotions out after a thrashing, it’s allowed you know.

That was a long time ago. Doesn't have any relevance.

We cannot keep saying other teams are better so we should expect to lose.

Toothless and soft. I don’t remember a single real challenge going in on one of their players and to lose 5-0 and not get a single booking shows an acceptance of the result before a ball was kicked. No fight whatsoever in that display. There is a way to lose and a way to roll over. We may as well handed out drinks and canapés after each goal

I'm not sure Lees-Melou is the answer in a two man midfield.

And I can't let out my emotions when after a poor performance the SAME posters come out who disappear after a win? Who blame the fans (i.e me) ; If i react, I'm 'moderating' posts?

Just working out the double standards here.
