chicken 2,605 Posted August 21, 2021 (edited) I've said it before and I'll say it again - when we play a narrow side Vs one of the top sides, we lose cover in wide areas, typically where their best attacking players are. Not only that, but they'll have the quality to switch the ball quickly. I just see it as being a bit naïve to set up that way against the top sides. I know it's a "free hit" but I would love to see us be prepared to stick the boot in a bit more and set up a little more defensively. 4-5-1, throw Sorenson into DM and tell the wide players to be more defensively responsible. I'm going to say it, after three years of loving farke, I don't think he isn't good enough to manage at the top level. Ten games of this and he has to go. They're causing themselves so many issues trying to play it out from the back and City are just setting traps, they're closing them down really well.
