Bethnal Yellow and Green 1,557 Posted August 13, 2021 I did notice he was training with the first team in the video Norwich released yesterday. Given that Norwich currently have no one out with injuries or COVID it’s a good sign for him. Tomkinson was there as well. Adshead has got a lot of talent, but had problems with consistency in Holland and unluckily for him midfield is an area very well stacked already for Norwich. Especially as they are still looking to bring one in. Hard to see how he’ll get minutes ahead of players like Sorenson and Rupp, never mind PLM, Gilmour and McLean. Wouldn’t be surprised if a League One/Championship loan materialised for him close to the end of the window. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

AJ 1,192 Posted August 13, 2021 There's still time for loans to happen, I wouldn't be surprised if all 3 of Adshead, Tomkinson and Blair went out on loan. Josh Martin seemed the most likely to break through a short while back and he's ended up out on loan so would be very interesting if any of these guys made it into the final squad for the season Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Nuff Said 4,473 Posted August 13, 2021 @Bethnal Yellow and Green - I thought the same thing about the congestion of players we have in midfield that he’d have to get through. Apart from keeper (especially since we bought Angus), it has to be the worse position to play as a youngster. If you were a CDM and any good, you’d probably be on the bench already.
