Rays Funds for the CSF with the PUPs Season 15 Week 1

Recommended Posts

Definitely good to be back.

My 6 pick is a home win for Barrow against Hartlepool.

As for city while my heat says we will get something from this, my bets is for an away win with a -2 handicap for liverpool, at odds of c9-4.

Good luck everyone.

Hi all, great to be back again for another season. Thank you Nutty for all you do to keep this great thread running and lovely to see some new posters and also some returning.

For @KiwiScot I'm heading to Sweden with:

MALMO FF v IFK Goteborg HOME WIN

Good Luck @KiwiScot and all you Lovely PUPs

For the Norwich bet:

HT/FT Draw/Draw. Best of luck @Hansterbubble

Many thanks to Nutty for keeping this going and to the sponsors for their financial support.

Group A of the Etela Section of the Finish Kolmonen.

FC Espoo to win at home against NuPS.

FC Espoo have an overall 3-2-3 and 16/10 record, but since losing at home to high-flying SexyPoxyt they have drawn away and then had 6-1 and 5-1 wins against teams just above NuPS.

NuPS, bottom, have an overall 0-1-7 and 7/26 record. Their sole point came against the team immediately above them.

The odds are around 1/5.

-

For the match bet I suggest an optimistic (or is it?!) Norwich City to score in each half of the game.

Good luck to all!

Hi All,

It's been a while! I'm going for a Burton Albion HOME WIN over Ipswich (currently 15/8!). For Norwich, I'm hoping there are odds for this, but scoreless (0-0) at HT. Great to be back!

It’s great to be finally back! For the opening week I’ll go for Ajax to beat NEC Nijmegen. For our match I would love for us to get a result but I just can’t see it so I’ll suggest 3-1 Liverpool. Good luck everyone! Also Eddie I’ve sent you over a tenner 👍

Hello!  After a season's hiatus I am back (hopefully for the season).

Early season picks are hard but PSG to beat Strasbourg seems a good a bet as any.

As for our game, it's a tough one but I'll go with both teams to score and leave it at that.

Eddie, if I see you soon I'll chuck you a tenner.

Good luck everyone.

Bravo bravo 👏🏽 @nutty nigel…the best thing about this forum and a wonderful thing to be part of….thank you 🙏🏽

I think for Kiwi that a trip to Norway - where one of my partners currently is having a joyful time 🥳 - might be well worth a visit for the Toppserien W game:

Lillestrom vs Klepp - Home win

As for Hanster’s Norwich bet I can’t see past the excellent call from @Wacky Waving Inflatable Arm Flailing Tube Man for the Lees-Melou first yellow at 11-1…that looks a great spot 👌

In bocca al lupo 🦮

Parma 💛💚

Alrighty then sports fans. Lots of good suggestions and I've tried to find all sorts of reasons to count in/discount a team, but in the end I've gone for 1 six that seems tight and another with more flair. I've also added a 2nd pick from myself as I found Rubin Kazin to win at 11/10. They seem to have done well so far and also last season and they are playing a team just promoted who are not doing well. Seems a great find, but the odds are to risky for my main six.

Main Six - Tight

Kuressaare v Flora - Away Win(My Pick not for stats) - Estonian Meistriliiga
Breidablik v. I Akranes - Home Win - Iceland Pepsideild
Chelsea v Palace - Home Win
Lillestrom Women vs Klepp Women - Home Win - Toppserien Women
Ajax v NEC - Home Win
Sevilla v Vallecano - Home Win

Alternative Six - Flair

Rubin Kazan v Krylya Sovetov Samara - Home Win (My Pick for Stats) - Russian Premier League
Kashiwa Reysol v Kawasaki Frontale - Away Win - J-League
Raith v Aberdeen - Away Win - Scottish League Cup
Barcelona v Real Sociedad - Home Win
Heracles v PSV - Away Win
Leicester v Wolves - Home Win

Nutty I'll get you another tenner.

Wow it's great to be back doing this. I already get the feeling this season's PUPs could be the strongest team yet. It's great to see so many top PUPs from last year along with top PUPs returning from before. I think we're in for a great season👍

Thanks so much for your selections @KiwiScot and the extra tenner and second set. I honestly think if we get the bit of luck we always need then we could get both sets home.

I've placed the first set with Bet 365 where the potential return is £30.68. Here are the details..

Lillestrom W

1/6

14:00 Sat

Chelsea

2/9

15:00 Sat

Flora Tallin

1/12

17:00 Sat

Ajax

1/10

20:00 Sat

Breidablik

1/4

18:00 Sun

Sevilla

4/9

21:15 Sun

The second set have an exciting potential return of £242.69. Here are those details..

Kawasaki Frontale

11/20

11:00 Sat

Leicester

4/6

15:00 Sat

PSV

2/5

17:45 Sat

Aberdeen

17/20

12:00 Sun

Rubin Kazan

11/10

18:00 Sun

Barcelona

8/11

19:00 Sun

Both sets are nicely spread between Sat and Su. so it should be fun following them over the weekend.

Good luck KiwiScot and all you PUPs🤞🍀👍

Good morning PUPs,

It’s a real pleasure to be doing the match picks today. The sun is out here in SE London, it’s the first game of the season and a world of possibilities lay ahead of us. Liverpool will be a tough start, but I’m wearing the Norwich City socks that came with my away membership which surely will bring us a bit of luck both in the match and with the picks!

Thanks for all the wonderful suggestions. BTTS was a clear favourite so I’ve come up with a bit a strategy around that.

  • BTTS - £2
  • Lees-Melou first yellow card £1
  • Lees-Melou to score anytime £1
  • Gilmour to score anytime £1
  • Todd to score anytime £1
  • Pukki to score anytime £1
  • Tzolis to score last £1
  • Full time result: Draw £1
  • Liverpool and BTTS no £1

The last cover bet hurts my heart a little, especially as it is my pick, so COYY prove me wrong! 💪⚽💛💚💛💚💛

Good luck to my picking partner, those look excellent choices Kiwi.

Hi all, ive been away from this thread for a few years as i lost my love with football in general. Back for the new season - all be it too late for the pickers.

My pick for the 6 would of been Portsmouth to beat Crewe

For the match bet i'd suggest draw at half time away win full time .

Good luck all and well dont nutty for keeping this thread going especially in the last 12 months

Well that's typical isn't it. The J-League is a risky place, but Kawasaki had such good form and out of place so for he J-League it seemed worth it.

Still Chelsea winning and Lillestrom nearly home in the other set.
