NWC 204 Posted August 5, 2021 According to this link, we made a 5 year profit of £66 million. Of course this is a player net spend figure only and doesn’t include wages or operations costs. https://www.football365.com/news/transfers-premier-league-five-year-net-spend-man-utd-man-city?fbclid=IwAR1MOh9YOQpjRWcSFu6t-X-oCrNfDpj-opsDf-uON-V4zqyrgegphv_tg2I

Starting to think you're a parody account like Bill, after your Ed Balls, well, Balls-Up of the highest order, followed by some weird assumption that because other people lost money it doesn't have an impact on Norwich's finances. Garbage really
1902 1,166 Posted August 6, 2021 So, according to this every time we are in the Championship we sell players at a profit to pay our comparatively high wage bill. Then make a slight loss on transfers in the Premier League.... Or it's Delia's handbag. Personally I can only envisage the latter.

essex canary 396 Posted August 6, 2021 It is hard to believe that following the sale of Emi Buendia we actually show net spend of £1.13 million this year. Note that the published accounts give the actual audited figures based on complete financial years rather than close season which presumably this list reflects. Petriix 2,550 Posted August 6, 2021 I would imagine that's pretty accurate, and reflects exactly our shortfall in revenue compared to expenditure over the same period (with acknowledgement that we have paid off all our debt and heavily invested in the academy in the same time frame). This is the first time in a long time that we've had the chance to actually splash the cash without risking bankruptcy.

We need to start some sort of record of wild claims, this has to be added to "Sargent can't use his left foot" and "we don't play a formation"...
