Digby Jones has criticised the way Alex Scott pronounces words ending in 'g'. 

So would speaking posh make your contribution to football better than hers Diggers?

Aren't we supposed to be past which fork you use for which dish or what wine?

Old Diggers would be on the first list for up against the wall.

Ah, I was taking the rip by deliberately leaving the "g" out of his name. Scott's done a good job in my book. Complaining about stuff like that is odd.

though not past some* still getting offended that there are people with a darker skin colour living in England, never mind them being on the telly

I wonder if Digby knows that the proper pronunciation of the surname of German philosopher Immanuel Kant sounds the same as the word "c*unt". Why that fact shoulld come to my mind I have no idea.
