ManchesterCanary 0 Posted February 7, 2006 Re: the post on supposed thugs harassing the Ipswich supporters...nothing wrong in a bit of serious banter. There was a time when a few of us brave (crazy?) city boys would make it into the North Stand at Portaloo in the days when it was all standing. We would celebrate city goals like no other...and obviously knew abuse and sometimes more would be forthcoming. With Hillsborough and Heysel in mind I definitely do ''not'' advocate a return to those good old bad old terrace days...but the atmosphere at Carrow Road and Portaloo most definitely needs some livening up. AJ 1,218 Posted February 7, 2006 even thou it was a Derby, you have to admit the Atmosphere was completely dead and has been for many games no, its horrible, nothing like the old days of which i used really enjoy going to, the carnival like atmosphere''s in our promotion season were amazing, i suppose under worthington we will never see the likes of that ever again....................
