Nevermind the fact that he was the Ipswich under 18's and under 16's captain too, all pegged for brighter things and a first team contract at Ipswich only to jump ship to us as soon as he had the chance. Yellow Fever 3,300 Posted July 23, 2021 I'm of an age where we were very much the 'nowhere/who ?' lower league club compared to Ipswich with their European and FA cup success (let alone pre 66) . I don't hate Ipswich - I just like to beat them on a regular basis by as many goals as possible. However I do wish them well providing they remember their true place in the regional rankings - somewhere behind Luton and similar to Cambridge for instance. Don't want football getting bland, stale and to the 'no chanting allowed please sit down and keep quiet' do we? He was the Ipswich under 21's and under 16's captain, I have no doubt he knows all about it. And I mean It's not quite to the level and extent of Sol Campbell with Spurs/Arsenal is it?
