What am I missing here ? Is he handing over a publicity pic of himself ? That he just happens to be carrying around ?

Yes, he's got a bumbag of pre-signed pictures of himself.

Thanks . I thought the way the guy on Twitter  was reacting Colin had given the little girl two tickets to the World Cup final .

He's only disliked and 'marmite' as he is a classic old school kind of guy who has no issues with saying it how it is and telling you to **** off if you're being annoying, and sadly nowdays a lot of people can't handle that

Agreed. They'd be whinening on social media big time.

Such a Jekyll and Hyde character.

Like a lot of people, I am a bit split on Colin. Although he can be ridiculous at times, the game would be much poorer without such characters. In addition, despite his ranting and raving in the changing room, nearly all those who played for him really liked him

Colin is absolutely class, says what he means, means what he says.

One of the few managers who is a qualified ref too. Respect him for that.

Wants his players to run through walls for him.

I just love the fact that Colin carries around photos of himself (I assume) in a bum bag 😂

I imagine after you’ve been asked for one for the 500th time, it seems like a good idea.

Hey it's a great idea. That girl in the video is proper chuffed. A lovely thing to do 👍

Is he still Boros manager? Can't say I've kept up with it

👍 (and I didn’t know about the referee qualification, interesting).

Not unusually he overplays the referee qualification, it was nearly 50 years ago that he qualified, not sure he's kept his qualification up to date. 😀

He has his rants, but as an authentic character truly steeped in football - and is a bloody good storyteller to be fair - I quite like him. And I was pleased to see he beat back Covid and was able to resume his duties.

Always gives me a laugh does Colin. Loved his story about when he was interviewed for our job (think around Rioch?) And reckon he would have done a job. Loved to hate him in the 90s but have grown to really like his direct talking. And he does have a bit of heart about him. Did people see that famous video piece comparing his style to Pep?

If not, worth a watch (if not offended by the occasional swear word):

I like Colin too -  but surely if he carries a bumbag he'd be a 'Bumbag w4nker'!

Worthington was always great with me as a kid. We used to wait early by the carpark outside the river end for the players to come out of their cars to try to get pics and autographs in like 2002 ish. Worthy was always happy to stop for a chat, some pics and to sign a few things. He was definitely a class act.
